"The beach proximity was much better than most other hotels in the Keys. They have small walk-in sand beaches. Much better than coral or concrete barriers or rocks at other hotels along the Keys. This area has sea grass in the shallows. Not expecting to walk on grass, but it was fine. This location on the gulf side of the Keys had no Sargassum while the Atlantic side had significant decaying Sargassum in the summer. This is not your typical sandy gulf beach, but it was nice with no waves and calm warm water to lounge in. Watching the sunset while lounging in the water was a wonderful new experience. The pool area was very nice and convenient to the beach. Covered self parking was awesome considering the sunny climate. Nice bonus feature is the convenience of the onsite watersports business. We enjoyed a jet ski tour of the mangroves and Highway 1. Very convenient to restaurants and diving/snorkeling businesses."

"Cute little place right on the backwaters. Easy check-in if you follow the guidelines. We had no issue and the Kampground personnel were friendly. Host was easy to connect with. We only rated it good instead of excellent because of the pillow options and the mattress comfort. Those pillows are WAY too puffy and stiff that I ended up using the decorative pillow to sleep on. There were no other options available in the home. It absolutely did not ruin our trip, but it is worth a mention. To be fair, I did not ask the host about off site options. Our trip was mostly a rainout unfortunately. But I did get to use the kayak one time! It was pleasant. And the pool was closed the entire visit for repairs. I was definitely hoping to use the pool but couldn’t. That was a bit of a let down and it would have been nice to know that ahead of time. September is apparently off season. The Kampground is almost too quiet for our liking. I’m glad I stayed here but overall it is not my cup of tea to stay in a place like this in the future. Again, no fault of the host at all, it’s just our preference."

The accommodation was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a perfect getaway.The location was fantastic—convenient to everything while still giving us that relaxing Keys atmosphere. But what really made our stay special was the host. They were incredibly welcoming, helpful, responsive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. Truly one of the best hosts we’ve ever had!We enjoyed every minute of our stay and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect Keys getaway! "
