Excellent stay

The hotel is lovely, in a traditional courtyard-style house. It is beside the north gate, just inside the ancient town, so the location is great. Alice was fantastic, collected us from the train station and gave us lots of tips on places to visit and eat. We had a great two-night stay, highly recommended!

This is a small hotel with a correspondingly small staff. They we always helpful. We appreciated that they collected us from the station and took us back at the end of our stay. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful. It is siutated just inside the city wall and verything is walkable.

Fantastiskt hotell

Ett mycket fint, trevligt och atmosfäriskt courtyard-hotell innanför den norra porten av den gamla staden (ca 30m in åt höger - på några kartor står det fel). Läget gör att det är lugnt men ändå nära till sevärdheterna i staden. Bäst av allt är dock den fantastiska personalen som var oändligt hjälpsam och hjälpte oss att ordna våra utflykter till Mian Shan och Qian Family Compound till bra pris. De hjälpte oss också med några problem som uppstod vid resan. Frukosten serveras vid bordet, den första dagen fick vi en variant av english breakfast men till de andra dagarna bad vi om den kinesiska varianten som vi tyckte bättre om och som bestod av lokala rätter, god och väl tilltagen. Ett helt fantastiskt ställe - åker man till Pingyao så ska man bo här!

중국 여행 중 역대급 편안함!!

몇년 간 호텔스 닷컴 사용하면서 처음 남겨보는 후기입니다.여기는 좋은 의미에서 꼭 올려야겠다 싶더라고요. 핑야오에서 외국인 주숙등기가 가능한 4등급짜리 숙소는 서넛 있었지만 숙소 예약 당시 영어가 가능한 곳은 제가 가고자 하는 시간에는 이곳이 유일했습니다. 핑야오고성역에서 고성 내부까지 들어갈 때는 버스나 택시를 이용해야하는데, 그런 점을 고려해서 픽업 서비스를 제공해준다는 것도 최고였고 룸 컨디션 정말 좋았어요... 고성터라는 특성상 옛날 건물들이 대부분이라 외풍이랑 잠자리가 불편할 것 같아서 일부러 내부는 현대식으로 리모델링 된 곳을 골랐는데요. 이게 신의 한수... 여행 갔을 당시에 내내 눈오고 바람불고 난리였는데 숙소는 너무 훈훈했어요. 여행하면서 피곤하다가도 숙소 오면 내 편이 있는 곳에 온 거 마냥 안심되고 그랬네요!!ㅎ 진심으로 다음에 또 오고 싶은 곳입니다.

Located at the north gate, a quieter part of the old town. But pingyao old town is not too big, so walkable to the other parts as well. A supermarket is located a short walk away outside the city wall. Free transport to/fro train station was provided, which was a lovely touch. Very cosy room with the necessities. Staffs were really friendly!

평요고성역 무료픽업서비스부터 마음에 들었었는데 숙소에 들어서니 더 기분이 좋았습니다. 직원들도 매우 친절하고 일에 능숙했고 숙소 청결상태나 필요한 물건들이 다 잘 갖추어져있어서 1박만 한것이 너무 아쉬웠습니다. 숙소를 떠날때 한직원이 자신의 카메라로 기념사진도 찍어준 것이 너무 고맙습니다. 小周的服务非常棒
