70th Birthday Celebration
We have just spent 5 days at Misty Mountain to celebrate my wife's 70th birthday. Our stay was fabulous! Everyone enjoyed the brilliant location, overlooking Jindabyne and the lake. The facilities were first class-comprehensive, very comfortable, and very-well maintained. We especially appreciated the huge range of appliances and utensils in the kitchen, which made catering for large family group so easy. We would heartily recommend this facility for any large group stay.

This is a fantastic property to be able to collect together with people in common spaces, and also has plenty of separate rooms and bathrooms to accommodate privacy as well. It’s beautifully located in a private setting a few kilometer outside of town with fantastic views. It’s well appointed as far as the kitchen goes, so if you are cooking for a large group it’s easy, and there a big outdoor gas barbecue as well. It’s also got individual reverse cycle air conditioning diluted into each of the rooms which was good for us as it was hit one day and quite cool one night. Overall, highly recommended.

We had a wonderful week away as a family group. The house provided all the essentials and comforts for winter. Only suggestion is to add some curtains/blinds to games room door/window to stop headlights from road shining through

Great property. We had 3 families stay and there was plenty of room and plenty of bathrooms, separate media rooms for the kids to Keep themselves amused when not out and about. Great place to stay and will definitely look to stay again

This house has everything you need, and so many bathrooms which is very convenient. We loved being so close to Jindabyne and at the same time it is secluded and peaceful. Everything was great. We hope to be back.

Fantastic group accomodation
We had great birthday celebration weekend stay with 14 guests. The property was very well set up for group gathering with 7 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms with plenty of hot water and individual temperature control for each room. Very convenient for Jindabyne yet out of main town with lovely view of mountains and Lake Jindabyne Highly recommended for self catering group stay.

Property was great for our purpose with bedrooms at each end with multiple bathrooms and centralised living spaces. Felt very rural but was still only a couple of minutes drive into town for anything you needed. Very clean and tidy. Will stay again if down that way with a large group

We so enjoyed our stay. The young adults had their end of the house while the mature adults had ours! The house is so clean and warm and full of character. The beautiful view and visits from various wildlife were the icing on the cake!

Excellent Stay in the Country
A beautiful house and property located just outside of Jindabyne. A perfect house to have a big group with privacy and all the amenities you need with the shops just a 5 minute drive down the road. The house is very comfortable and the big theatre room is a fun added bonus you wouldn’t expect. Beautiful views of the valley all the way down to the lake, and lots of kangaroos hopping around based on the time of day. Would highly recommend staying here!!

We were a family group of 16 aged from 7 to 70 and the house layout was excellent to allow for great interaction and communication. We walked, we rode horses and even enjoyed the -2 fresh morning air. Will be back again one day

2nd stay and always a pleasure!
This was the 2nd time our group has stayed at Misty Estate and we enjoyed it once again. The only downside was the projector was blown and we were unable to use the second lounge room due to this. Apart from that we will not hesitate to book this place again. Look forward to staying here next year!

Cosy and warm stay
Really great property which fit a large group of friends going on a snow trip. Plenty of kitchen utensils, cutlery, and plates / bowls / cups / mugs. Really good living area connected to the dining area for mixed activities but keeping everyone together. The heating was perfect to keep us warm, and the bathroom facilities were great. The location is very convenient - less than 10 minutes away from Jindabyne town centre and 30-40 minutes away from Perisher / Thredbo. Being away from the town centre meant it was really nice and quiet, too.
