The room was quiet, tidy and spacious with a lovely view and effective heater. Beds were very comfortable. Staff were helpful and reasonably prompt when assistance was needed. Although instructions were to wash your dishes, no detergent was supplied. The large bed appeared not to have had sheets changed as one side of the pillowcase smelt like sweat and there were a few head hairs between the sheets. Ignoring that, we were very comfortable.

The room is good with fantastic views of the lake. The bathroom was second rate with dirty toilet and mould and dirt around the bath. Had to buy some mould killer and spray bath. Had to clean toilet with the toilet brush and use dishwashing detergent supplied.

The rooms were very basic and had minor issues such as an exhaust fan not working in my room. The property manager James was very friendly and helpful. However, the check-in and checkout were all done without staff contact.The property was value for money.

The property is incorrectly rated as 5 star, would rate at 3 in its present condition. Missing hairdryer, dirty windows and hard to open. Missing bedside table. Mouldy shower curtain. The property had no access to reception, bar or dining areas. All closed up for summer? Rooms badly need renovations.

Mould. Warning, I should have listened to others warning me about this Motel. Unruly staff Unkempt property No refund Carpets have two of us a headache I was yelled at for a few minutes, so departed. Thanks Orbitz for the partial refund! Heater did not work

The property is in poor condition, smells and staff are absent. Expensive for what is on offer. The owners did not respond to direct feedback. Apparent that care for guest satisfaction is nil. Very disappointing experience.

Onsite reception would have made stay better. Not very friendly overall; however the room itself was clean and comfortable with a nice bath/shower. Also appreciated the guest laundry and complementary soap.

Staff and service: there was none as it was a key pick up. The shower was dirty/ mould buildup and the vanity sink was well worn. The actual shower, while good flow was lukewarm/ cold, while using only the hot tap. In the middle of winter, a hot shower would be a basic necessity. The outside area on the top verandah: both tables were broken and seats not good, the children’s play area was also run down and broken.

The property was generally tidy and the location was good and qutie convienient for access to shops as well as heading to the slopes. I was a little dissappointed with the room. The bathroom exhaust fan and sliding door didn't work. It was pretty cramped and no area to put luggage other than stuffing it under the bed. Also no area to hang anything. We were there in winter and the room is very drafty but we managed to keep it warm enough by setting the air con to 28 the whole time. To be fair, the room was advertised as basic and while it seemed pretty pricy for what we got, that may just be what's expected during snow season.

Paid non-refundable reservation for room with housekeeping available if requested. After paying, received email advising no housekeeping daily. When I requested housekeeping, told it was not included and not possible as housekeeper had left for the day - a lie, as the housekeeper was seen delivering bedding after the phone call. Paper thin walls and noisy. Managers are rude, wotif misrepresents the property, spend your money elsewhere.

The bed was comfortable, the room seemed a little dated, but clean. Look, this accommodation has obviously been built to predominantly accommodate people using the ski fields throughout the day and coming back to sleep during the winter months, so it’s a plain building without being homely. As I said comfortable bed and clean bathroom, no other facilities while we were there, and if that’s what you’re after it’s for you. By the way you are expected to clean your plates and cutlery so if you trust the previous guess’s attention to hygiene fine. We washed everything before we used it.

Right opposite Lake Jindabyne, Brewery & ski hire. Also easy access by car or on foot, to Dine in various local restaurants, clubs, pubs. Other shops like W'Worths, Chemist, etc only 1 min drive by car with easy free Parking. Room was very large, clean & had all the required necessities. Sufficient tea. coffee, towels, soap, tissues supplied for our stay. Easy access to drive to Thredbo, Perisher etc & other direction to Cooma, Canberra etc. Only negative is that it needs painting of doors & walls

The motel is old and needs repair. The pain on the bathroom roof is peeling, the mixer taps are so hard my 8yr old couldn’t adjust the temperature of the shower. The bathroom had water leaking through the fan from the roof. The beds are WAY past needing replacement. Basically for the cost it’s not a nice place. If it was revamped it would be good.

The unit needs a makeover. Doorknob on bathroom has sharp metal sticking out which cut my finger. Floor waste is protruding up from floor, trip hazard. No toilet roll holder. Fridge door scrapes on floor, needs mounting on a platform. Yep needs some work done.
