"We were definitely disappointed with our stay. At check in, we were informed that the pool and hot tub were closed for renovation. And while they did offer a full refund if we wanted to book elsewhere-that would have been very stressful to do after a long drive. We may have booked elsewhere had we known prior to checking in. The hotel is more of a motel feel and is right next to the highway so the road noise was fairly loud in the rooms at night. The breakfast was disappointing. Being served food, at the bar, was ok but the service was not very welcoming and the food wasn't very consistent. The food on day 1 was ok, but on days 2 and 3 it was cold or burnt. The pictures on their website of the breakfast was not accurate at all. The bathroom was in bad shape. The floor of the bathtub was stained and torn up, the shower curtain bar almost fell off while I was in the shower, and the shower head was actually hanging off the wall. It was also not well maintained: discolored caulking & stained floors. There wasn't an exhaust fan in the bathroom so we had to wait a while for the steam to clear out of the bathroom before we could dry our hair. We did let the front desk know about the shower curtain rod and shower head and they did tighten the shower curtain rod. The Lounge is a great idea and it was really nice to be able to grab some food and drinks later in the evening. The bar staff was very friendly and the food was good bar food. "

"The front desk was very welcoming and helpful. The room was big and comfortable, but the corners could have been a little cleaner. There was a refrigerator and a small coffee machine. I didn’t use the coffee machine because there was a free breakfast in the morning. When I arrived for breakfast at 9 AM, the coffee station needed to be restocked (understandable), but there was nothing else except a waffle machine of which someone was in the process of sticking his batter to rendering it useless. The price was appropriate given the location and everything else. I recommend this hotel if you are on a budget and passing through."

"The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The lobby was very inviting with the fireplace on. There was coffee and water available, if needed. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The pool areas were very nice, also. My husband and I will definitely return."
