This beautiful one bedroom apartment has all that you need for a weekend get away, including a queen size bed, washer & dryer, large fully equipped kitchen with pots, pans and dishes. There is also WIFI, Hulu Live with Showtime and HBO MAX and Netflix. Located in the historic district of Jim Thorpe. This apartment has off street parking and is an easy walking distance from all of the attractions.

This house was built in 1850 and was Mary Packer Cummings Carriage House. You will feel comfortable and at home in this historic building that has all the modern conveniences. Two night minimum stay on weekends.

Perfect location

Perfect location. I thought the uphill climb might be a bit strenuous when we first arrived but it was very easy getting to and from the downtown area. The place was clean and quiet. The owners were communicative and gave fantastic and extensive recommendations for things to do in the area. I would highly recommend staying here!

Great location and very happy to have a parking spot in a busy town!

We enjoyed our time at the High Street house. It was just enough space for two people, and so convenient to walk into town. We took the bike train on 7/20 and loved returning to a cozy space to relax for the evening. Chad was kind enough to provide us with a second parking spot since we traveled separately to the location. I would recommend this VRBO!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

This apartment was perfect for my husband and me, and our dog. Fabulous location, walkable to just about everything! All of the little touches made it the perfect home away from home. We can’t wait to come back in the warmer months! We were so happy to have found this place!

Great trip!

This was our second time in Jim Thorpe and second time staying in the carriage house. The apartment was perfect! Great size for the two of us, very clean and in a great location-everything we wanted was in walking distance. We will be returning again!

Comfortable and Convenient

Had a great stay at this apartment. It is in a great location and has all of the amenities you need. The property also has some great outside sitting areas and fire pits to spend time at. The property managers are super helpful, and have great insight into the area. We look forward to returning.

Perfect location

Lovely cottage and an easy 5 minute walk to town. The unit was cozy and well equipped with all we needed to have romantic getaway. We will for sure be back.

Great little getaway

This was a great place to stay as we explored Jim Thorpe. Great location to walk into town and not fuss with the parking or driving situation downtown and close to the parks. Everything was clean and easy to find within the apartment and no fuss to use anything.

Perfect Spot!

We had a wonderful stay in apartment A! The location was perfect - just a short walk into town but in a quiet location. Chad was very welcoming and helpful. The apartment was clean and very cozy. It was so nice being able to stop back at the Airbnb throughout the day as we explored Jim Thorpe. We will be back!

High St. Hideaway

The location was great. Very clean and neat. It was accessible and near enough to the "madness of downtown", yet apart from it enough to be quiet. All in all, a great place to stay. I would highly recommend it.

Heart of Jim Thorpe

Jeffery was a great host and was super helpful with providing information about things to do in the area and local restaurants to check out. The place itself was great and had everything you need. I’d definitely recommend it and will stay again here in the future when I visit Jim Thorpe.

A Gem in Jim Thorpe

Cozy place in town

This 1 bedroom was perfect size for me and my husband. Fireplace was wonderful! We had a little snowfall the first night, it was a beautiful setting while visiting the town during Winterfest. Apartment was very clean, had everything we needed. Met one of the owners, super nice guy!

Great location for walking

Really enjoyed our stay here in Jim Thorpe. It is great for walking everywhere, parking perfect, our dog loved it. The owners were so friendly and helpful, really made you feel welcome and comfortable. They have created this great sitting walking space on hill above property. It was all decked out for Halloween which made it even more fun and lively.

Great accommodations in a wonderful location.

We've been talking about visiting Jim Thorpe for a while & finally made time to follow through. The town itself, with it's historic buildings & modern conveniences make Jim Thorpe one of the most quaint & heartwarming places we've ever visited. Our accommodations were everything we hoped for, clean, cozy & centrally located just off the beaten path with parking on site. Our host was beyond welcoming & very friendly with advice about local attractions. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone planning to visit Jim Thorpe. Val & Ed

Impressed a Road Warrior

As somebody who spends more nights in hotel beds than home each year and has lifetime platinum status at every major hotel chain, I’m not easily impressed. Still, I thoroughly enjoyed this property. This was a business trip, but the lack of chain hotels in the area necessitated a Vrbo rental. I have had mixed results in the past, so I was understandably nervous… for no reason. The property was exactly as described, it was a very old building, but it was recently remodeled and totally refreshed. I also loved the in suite washer/dryer which allowed me to do my on the road laundry without quarters. My only complaint is more of a regret, this property was so romantic and cozy it was a shame to only stay one night. I will definitely be returning in the future for a romantic few days in the Switzerland of Pennsylvania.
