What a great little place to chillax in Katamon! Mike and his wife are awesome -- kind, warm, and as helpful as can be. The room is simple and perfect -- a super comfortable place to crash after walking the streets of Jerusalem all day. Will absolutely return again!

Great place to stay in Jerusalem

We all found the hotel to be very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Mike himself was just great and made us feel very welcomed. My wife is already planning a return visit.

Wifi wasn’t available during our whole stay and the staff we have encountered are not friendly except for Mike over WhatsApp. He’s not there in person tho. The staff around isn’t welcome at all. The location is pretty bad and far from the city center. And there’s no shower gel available either when we arrived. Though Mike himself is welcoming and tried to help, it was a kinda miserable experience due to lack of basic necessities

It is a very casual place with the feel of a hostel, but the accommodation of a simply hotel. Check-out is simply placing the key on the board. We met Mike. He is super friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend for a stay.

A wonderful stay

I had a really short stay in Jerusalem just for a night and I stumbled upon Mike’s House which was close to where I needed to be. I am so pleased that I did, it was clean, comfortable, really convenient and Mike was the perfect host, there to greet me from the airport with drinks and show me his lovely guest house. I had the family suite which was huge and even though it was just myself travelling this time, it’s lots of room for a family and really comfortable. I would highly recommend Mikes House, I’m sure we will be back.
