"The cabin was clean but very dated. It was orderly and adequate. The property generally seemed to be in a state of disrepair but no real problems. The image shows an active well lit property, it was not, the main building seemed to be abandoned. We did enjoy our stay. "

"We stayed 2 nights enjoying the fall colours. Accommodation was a good value, clean & in a convenient location with lovely views. Dinner at the Hungry Trout restaurant is a must, great food & service, we’ll be back."

"This place is so cute, it’s the perfect cozy vintage spot to enjoy the mountains. The interior looks like it hasn’t been touched since the 1980’s, which I wish more places would do. I will be coming back. "
"It was a nice place to stay, the area is beautiful. Nice resturant right down the road. Numerous hiking trails in the area. Some plugs are split between on/off at the wall vs at the equipment. Beds vary in hardness/softness. AC temperature control works. Two external doors, access through game room is narrow, use to open other external door to living room."
"The cabin is the last property on a county road - you couldn’t ask for a quieter spot! It was clean and cozy, check in was simple, and communication with the host was excellent. Highly recommend."
Secluded cottage! Amazing Views Whiteface Mtn & High Peaks! Great all 4 seasons!
10/10 Excellent
"We love Karen's place! It's clean, comfortable and quiet, with beautiful mountain views on three sides. We love the proximity to the East branch of the Au Sable River and hiking in the Wilmington and Keene Valley areas. This year, with a toddler among us, we enjoyed visiting nearby farms. Karen is a responsive and responsible host. We're most appreciative."
Keene Public Library is just one of the places to see in Keene, so why not enjoy the other things to explore during your travels? Stroll along the lakeside or discover the area's mountain views.
