Very clean secluded cabin with great views. Check-in was easy and would definitely recommend awd or 4x4 vehicle as the host suggested. Would definitely stay here again.
This was our second time to stay in one of these cabins. Our stay was great. The location is in the mountains of Jasper, so you can enjoy the buffalo river, but close enough to Branson to go to Silver Dollar City. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.
Enjoyed my stay and had everything I needed except only one days worth of coffee! Cabins closer than I thought, but still good. Nice and comfortable place
The cabin was perfect for my family! Beautiful views, clean, and still felt very secluded. We even had friends staying at the cabin next door to us. The porch was great for eating dinner, drinking coffee in the morning, or relaxing in the hot tub. We’ll definitely be back!
No complaints at all. This spot had everything we could have wanted and more. It was in the perfect location, and the fact that they allowed our dogs was huge for us. We had such a nice time. Hot tub was my personal favorite after a long day of hiking. Definitely will be staying here again. Host was super communicative. 10/10
The cabin and the view were beautiful!! The hosts were absolutely wonderful to work with. We couldn't have asked for better. The drive to the cabin was like they said steep and rough but we expected that. We liked being at the end of the drive.
This was our first experiene in doing a vrbo. Ryan was wonderful!! Would highly recommend the Ameican Buffalo Cabin!!
The property was a good size and worked well for our family of four. The cabin was clean and well-maintained, but it’s no joke that it’s hard to get to. The steep gravel drive was a bit washed out from spring rains. I didn’t know until shortly after booking that more than one cabin was in the vicinity. We weren’t inhibited by the others renters, but the spot wasn’t as secluded as we’d hoped. Jasper was a great hub for all the outdoor fun to be had in the northern Arkansas Ozarks/Buffalo National River area and we found (too late for our benefit unfortunately) a visitors guide to the area in a side table with some games. Would rent again!

Overall, property was fine. Gas grill ran out of propane which messed up our dinner plans one night. Bed was very comfortable. Great a/c and hottub! Directions were incorrect. Telephone Mgt had never been to the cabin, so they were no help with directions. 4 wheel drive or something similar is definitely needed to handle the last road. great kitchen with good pots and pans. Ever other VRBO we have stayed in did not have decent pan to cook eggs.
Had a very peaceful and relaxing trip. Just what we needed! Everything was great. Loved the hot tub and soaker tub. Clean rooms. Very easy to communicate with the host and property owner if need.
Cabin was everything our family needed! Place was great! Will come again for sure! Host was in communication the whole time with information needed for our stay!
Overall, this property is really good. We would definitely consider staying again. Just one improvement would make it absolutely fantastic - higher quality seating in the living area would be a fabulous upgrade and would have resulted in a 5 star rating from us.
We were very pleased with our stay at the American Buffalo cabin! The staff was very friendly and quick to respond to our messages on the app. The cabin is in great condition and everything was as advertised. The floors were a little dirty on check in, but it wasn’t a big deal. The cabin is located up a pretty steep gravel road, so I would highly recommend coming in a 4WD/AWD vehicle. Overall it was a great stay, and we would recommend it to our friends.
Rented for a celebtation of life gathering on the Buffalo as it was one of my husbands favorite places. This place was just about perfect. The ONLY complaint (& i think it was our fault in not readimg well enough. Got taken with the scenery!) we could possibly find was not beimg aware of the awd/4wd road/druveway entrance BUT we made it every time! (I would rent again but would make arrangements for a smoother ride) . It really was perfectly picturesque!
Overall, the stay was very nice. The house was beautiful and very well decorated. There were only a few things I would have changed, and it is really just nitpicky stuff. The stove top is broken on the corner and could potentially be a safety hazard for anyone staying with children. We had to wash every dish that we used because it looked like whoever put them up put them up dirty. Also, the hot tub had so much chlorine in it that we couldn't turn the jets on because the fumes burned our eyes. Like I said that is just small stuff. no big deal. beautiful cabin, beautiful area. And just to add, I don't know what material the bed sheets were made out of, but they were the softest sheets I've ever slept on. felt like butter!!!! 9/10 stars would stay here again :)
