We had a great stay at the overlander. Staff were helpful with check in and throughout the stay. Chalet was nice and exactly as described. It’s a bit of a drive into Jasper but that’s fine as there is so much to see along the way.
The internet was simply terrible. TV service also terrible. No ice maker. Otherwise very comfortable and we loved the front porch, grill, restaurant and view. All in all it was great.
Large chalet with lots of indoor/outdoor spaces to hang out in. Wonderful view! Lodge provided great customer service. Enjoyed eating at the restaurant.
Spectacular scenery and luxurious space Good restaurant on site.
Very spacious chalet. We had lots of room to gather or be separate. Quality barbecue and great seating outside and inside. Loved the deck which was large and around three sides of the chalet. The restaurant at the lodge was very good. It was nice to be able to just walk over. We enjoyed a breakfast, specialty coffee and a dinner there.
An amazing cabin for our visit at Jasper National Park
Tim has been very helpful and kind. We had a wonderful stay. The restaurant had amazing views and we had dinner and breakfast there. My daughters had to work on the last day of our stay and Tim went extra miles and let us stayed at lobby, so they were able to work for the morning. We really really appreciate his thoughtfulness and kindness. It was a very pleasant stay.
The staff is very friendly and professional. They make you feel special. I loved having the lodge local for breakfast and dinner. The drive in from Jasper is just about 30 to 40 minutes but worth the trip because it is so beautiful and we saw a lot of wildlife. The house had plenty of room and well stocked. The den area was very comfortable. I do not believe it has air conditioning, so if you are going in the hot months, then you may want to check on this if this is a concern for you.
We had a bumpy time getting there as the at 2:00 am because the directions in the system were bad, however we found out that VRBO's system was having an issue but Tim was not aware. When he found out, he was on it.
The lodge was beautiful. The master bedroom encompasses the entire upper floor. Our only quirk was that there was a window as you were walking up the stairs that did not have any covering, blinds, or shades so we had to move a privacy screen to give a bit more privacy.
The main floor was setup well for family time, watch a movie, play games, and eat with comfort.
The lower floor had two bedrooms that were about equal looking in space and setup so neither of our kids felt as if they got the "smaller" room, which we liked. The space downstairs had its own sitting area and a tv for them to enjoy.
The location was just a 15 minute drive to everything. We did not hit any trails this time, but we made sure to go to a couple of the local eateries.
I got food poisoning from Mr. Mike's, they messed up everyone's order, and the food was bland. I strongly suggest to avoid them.
Enjoy your stay.
The cabin was very spacious & clean, watch your step in the upstairs bathroom.
The location is great, the cabins were closer together than I imagined. The restaurant food was very enjoyable.
We loved staying at the chalet. It provided plenty of space for our family of 6 adults with 3 bedrooms and two common areas. The cabin decor and view from the living room windows are beautiful. The wrap around deck provided various seating arrangements. Nothing better than sitting on the deck, smelling evergreens and enjoying an adult beverage in the evening. The cabin was well stocked including dish detergent, paper towels, a small quantity of laundry pods and even little coffee creamers. We enjoyed being able to walk just a few steps to the Overlander Mountain Lodge for breakfast and drinks. The chalet is also a short drive to the Folding Mountain Brewery. We would highly recommend staying here.
The property was well kept and comfortable for our family vacation. Tim arranged for a playpen and a cot for the 2 children that were travelling with us. Very quiet location with beautiful views. Excellent communications with property manager. Be aware that the Wi-Fi is not that great - we had to rent a meeting room at the Fairmount for a company meeting of a couple of hours.
Great accommodation for group of friends, with separate sleeping spaces but lots of common living space. Easy to find and check in. Nice views on clear days and easy access to walking trails. Sole issue was leaking of water from loft jacuzzi tub into the kitchen, but this was addressed promptly by the host.
We have stayed at many vacation homes in North America and this was better than we expected. Much larger and more spacious than anticipated. Clean and very quiet. Very comfortable beds. We stayed in chalet 131. We never did find the oven mitts though so that would be our only negative.
