Spectacular Eco Cottage, oceanfront, secret beach

"We had a wonderful stay at Eco Cottage at Shore Break and would absolutely recommend it — 10/10!Communication with the host was excellent from beginning to end. The cottage was very clean, exactly as described on VRBO, and had everything we needed to get our vacation started. The directions were clear and easy to follow.The kitchen has a good-sized refrigerator, stove, and sink. There is no oven or microwave, but we honestly didn’t need either one during our stay.The view is absolutely spectacular! The ocean is beautiful, but definitely respect it — the waves and undertow can be very strong.We enjoyed every meal we had on Eleuthera and found plenty to see and do. One thing to be aware of is that August through October is their off-season, so quite a few restaurants and businesses may be closed. Even so, we were able to find everything we wanted to do.Most of our vacation was spent exactly how we hoped — relaxing, reading, enjoying the incredible view, and simply enjoying each other’s company.We loved our stay at Eco Cottage and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful Eleuthera getaway."

"5/5 - Absolute Paradise on Eleuthera!Our stay at this property was absolutely fabulous and the house is exactly as described in the listing. The house sits directly on the beach, fronting what has to be the most beautiful cove on the entire island. The sand is gorgeous, and the water is perfectly clear and calm. While we spent the vast majority of our time swimming in the ocean, floating and snorkeling, having the pool was a wonderful bonus, and it was incredibly refreshing after a long day in the sun. The paddleboards provided by the host were a massive hit with everyone, and we also loved that there were quite a few floats left behind and available for guests to use. The layout of the property is excellent. There is a huge covered area under the house that offers great shade, and the deck features quite a bit of outdoor seating for relaxing and taking in the views. We cannot recommend this place enough and would love to come back!"

"Paradise cove is a beautiful home that has everything you could need. It's very well stocked and everything to feel like home. So if you forget something they probably have it. The beds are very comfortable and the space is very relaxing. We loved the daybed swings on the porch. It was the perfect place for a cup of coffee and sit and stare at the ocean in the mornings. It's just a short path to get down to the ocean and then you are in a protected cove. Perfect for lady days floating. This house was perfect for two couples and would definitely stay here again."

"A cozy and comfortable home! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Jethro was very responsive, accommodating, and easy to communicate with throughout our visit. The home had everything we needed for a relaxing stay in Eleuthera, and we truly appreciated the hospitality. We would definitely recommend it to others and would happily stay again!"

"This is an amazing property-very zen! Loved the fantastic 200 degree views, sunrises and sunsets, constant sound of the surf and continuous breeze, even in late July. Location near the airport and other islands to visit via ferry too! This is a must stay place."

"The bungalow was fabulous, with every thing we needed: a comfy bed, nice tub, fridge, mini bar, beach towels, and ocean view. Staff were courteous and went above and beyond to meet our needs and wants. We were able to get an early check in and a late check out. Everything was wonderful."

"Hello, Having been to many Relais and Chateau properties through out the glove, my expectations were very high. I think The Cove did a great job overall for being in the Bahamas, however for this category of luxury resort, they fell short in many ways: They did not accomodate for an early check in, there were several power outages, internet and WiFi outages, there were water outages, the onsite water craft for excursions was not as clean as would be expected, there was a red ant infestation in our luxury bungalow which required sleeping in another suite for the night while fumigation took place. The staff was lovely, however, these issues need to be addressed."
