    The Hill of Peace is a luxury holiday house perched on the escarpment above the Jamberoo Valley, NSW — with sweeping views to the Pacific coast, north and south as far as the eye can see. A rare retreat south of Wollongong, surrounded by farmland, rainforest and silence.

    Designed for those who seek stillness, days here move slowly — long lunches, open fires, morning mist over the hills, and our newly transformed pool and deck for warmer days ahead.

    Available for exclusive private hire, The Hill of Peace accommodates up to 8 guests and is managed personally to ensure every stay is exceptional. Sleeping is designed for the upmarket adventurer — a mezzanine loft with two configurable sides, each set as a king or twin, a private master suite with pivot doors, and a self-contained cabin. The property sits within a wildlife sanctuary — kangaroos roam the lawns freely, a particularly special experience for international visitors.

Our host Vida was so helpful and was a great communicator. She made the whole weekend so much easier. The place was so peaceful and relaxing. Enjoyed every minute.

Such a wonderful property, it’s impossible to go past! The rooms are perfect for a small group of friends, the space perfect for everyone to have privacy and fun. The view is to die for. The drive to get there- too much fun! There is a generous amount of tasteful artifacts which make it looked lived in and not like the usual short-term rental. Beds and bedding are excellent. The kitchen has new whitegoods and functional cooking equipment, plenty of glasses and plates, bring your own sharp knife if that’s a thing for you. Bathrooms are good, hot water is plentiful, and all linen supplied makes for an easy stay.
