The Godfrey hotel is definitely in the heart of it all. Easy walk to Boston Commons, and all the T stations. The property is clean and inviting. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and kind. Especially when we needed directions! I highly recommend the Godfrey, and will be the hotel I stay at next time I am in Boston.

I am writing to express my frustration regarding the Wi-Fi quality during my recent stay. As someone traveling for work, having a reliable connection was essential, but the service provided fell well short of expectations. During the first two days, the internet was quite unstable, requiring me to manually reconnect 2 to 3 times each night. However, on my final night, the connection became completely unusable, dropping constantly every 10 minutes or less. When I spoke with the front desk to ask if there was an alternative login or solution, the staff member told me he did not know the passwords and could not assist. He mentioned he would ask IT to reset the router, but could not give me any timeframe for when it might be fixed. Upon checkout, the hotel waived one night's destination fee (~$40). While I acknowledge the gesture, it does not make up for the disruption to my work. Reliable internet is a basic requirement for business travel, and both the connectivity and front-desk support were disappointing.
