"The island is abiut 20 minutes boat ride from Jakarta and it's the closest island of thousands Island. Unfortunately the rubbish from Jakarta ended up on the beach in the island so swimming is not an option but the pool is great. If you come to get away the crowded Jakarta, this is the place where you can just relax, ride a bike and basically just chillax. Foods are great and lots of variety, the staff are polite and always helpful. I really enjoyed my stay"

"Definitely our fault for not researching where this hotel was located. Photos appealed as it was a leafier looking hotel which is unusual for Jakarta. We had no idea (and it is not evident from the information available on hotels.com) that it was essentially in the middle of an amusement park. The excessive noise was horrendous. Loud music would start from 730am and go most of the day. Do not stay here if you like sleep. The entry system was not explained in the booking. You have to enter Ancol...

"There is no windows in standard room, this is budget hotel but overall you get what you pay for. Good for short stay. Great location but no so many car parks. "
