"The house and garden were extremely comfortable. It was cold when we stayed but the automatic heaters in the bedrooms were perfect - not too hot - and the wood fire was lovely. Well appointed kitchen and very generous supply of breakfast staples. Jane communicated quickly and effectively - we had no issues. Our stay could not have been more comfortable. Thankyou"

"Fantastic little get away. The bar and restaurant were top notch meals were first class, staff are friendly, very comfortable sitting infront of the fireplace with a beverage soaking up the character. The rooms were well appointed and the continental breakfast was a welcome addition. Would definitely stay again."

"Excellent spot to experience some snow! Off the grid living but had all the essentials. Nothing beats a wood heater in winter, room for kids to run around and play outside, 2 minutes walk to the lake."
