"Well kept Japanese ryokan near the ocean. Delicious kaiseki dinner. Four private onsen on the upper floor. Also onsen in the room."

"My family of 3 stayed two nights at Hinodeya and it was a wonderful experience all around! This was our first visit to the Izu-Penninsula and we had such a great time. The owner and staff were so kind and accommodating, truly good spirits in this generational owned ryokan. The baths were very relaxing, the entire place was very clean and good spirits all around. "Nice meals and quiet "

"Excellent service and attention! If you're looking for an authentic japanese bathhouse experience, this is the place! Reserve dinner in advance (2 days) in case your reservation doesn't have it. Breakfast was fantastic! Only minor detail was a cockroach showing up in my room late at night.. not sure where it came from but hid in the closet."
