Old Palace Lodge Hotel

"I was concerned after reading reviews however I didn't need to be. There was a large car park with ample parking. The reception was nice and welcoming and the receptionist very friendly. We were on the second floor which we took the lift to. The corridors were clean and smelt fresh our room was a quadruple room for the 3 of us, it was adequate, clean, smelt fresh and the beds were comfortable. We had kettle with tea and coffee provided, the bathroom had small bottles of shampoo and body wash provided. Breakfast was included it was continental style with plenty of pastries, croissants, toast yoghurt fruit and cereal tea coffee, chocolate and fruit juice were also provided. It was also very quiet and we didn't encounter any children.
This hotel isn't posh or upmarket but it's clean comfortable and a nice place to stay. Also easy walking distance from the town, we attended a show at the theatre and it was very convenient. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. "

"Everything was very clean and tidy upon arrival. It was my first time glamping and I had a very pleasant stay. All the cooking facilities I needed were there, the host was very friendly and helpful, and it was very comfortable. Would stay again."

"This ws a one night stay for business. The property is undergoing renovation currently (sept 25), but my bedroom was extremely lovely. Very spacious, immaculate bathroom - I felt like I was the first person to stay on the room since it has been renovated!Very reasonable, comfortable, lovely bed. In such a great area too, lots of cute cafes, independent restaurants. Tring is so lovely too. I would definitely stay here again. "
