I really enjoyed my stay at Maywood hotel. The location is perfect close to restaurants, metro and tourist attraction places. The customer service is awesome and professional. The front desk staff Mr. ERSIN is a great and helpful gentlemen. He guided us perfectly whatever we needed. He helped us to locate Shopping malls around and how to go via metro and etc. On our check out day he gave us small gift of Turkey chocolates plus tea glasses that was just awesome to remember our stay at Maywood. The other great guy Mr. Ahmet also helped us on our second booking and showed us the available rooms to pick the right and good one. He was very helpful and guided us when we needed help. I really recommend this hotel not just being in good location, but also because of their professionalism customer service.

I loved the look of the hotel and the way my room was decorated. I enjoyed the breakfast very much. My area of the hotel was nice and quiet. The restaurant manager was outstanding. I can not remember his name; however, he was very professional, polite, and kind.

The hotel is clean, well run, everything necessary works, it is ideally situated for travelling around Istanbul, and is also quiet. I cannot recommend the Maywood highly enough.

It was close to the railway and trams.but not noisy from them. it was noisy at night due to the bars of hotels opposite - many being staff. Local restaurants available. Not the best place I have ever stayed but it was fine for 2 nights apart from the noise and window open due to no aircon. Maybe they are all like this in this area. Transport to airport was arranged and worked fine. They gave me an early breakfast when needed.

Nice and Easy Hotel place.
Me and my family of 6 really enjoyed our stay at Maywood hotel. The staff were extra friendly and helpful. The Breakfast was great. Nothing fancy, but it has all you need to start your day. Location is great; walking distance from Sultan Ahmet (Topkapi palace and AyaSofia..) and right in the middle of the market place. If I come back to Istanbul, I'm definitely staying there.

Great Location
Very comfortable stay. Clean rooms. Very helpful staff. Good breakfast spread. Centrally located. Within walking distance to all main tourist places. Lots of restaurants, eateries and pubs around. Very close to both the metro and tram. Rooms are small but comfortable.

Yes!....The nicest place to stay!
From the moment we came through the doors were very happy with the service and staff! We felt lime we were more than a customer, we felt like family! I've already told them if we are able to come back to Istanbule.... we will stay Here! PS.... absolute eat at the family restaurant....... get the fiery clay pot meal....he breaks it and pours out the delicious food...Served with rice..... so good!!!!

Great hotel in ideal location
The Maywood is a very good hotel in an ideal location for a stay in Istanbul. All the room facilities were fine, the room was quiet, the breakast was varied and fresh. The staff deserve special mention - friendly and helpful. One of the great things about the hotel is the proximity (easy walk) to the main sights of the old city, and it is very close to tram stops and the Marmaray station for a very quick trip to Asia. All in all - highest recommendation.

Very Close to public transport
Our room wasn’t that clean the first day we arrived but our overall experience in this hotel was very good and we would book with them again. The breakfast was amazing but again, some of the plates weren’t cleaned properly so the hotel staff should pay more attention to this. I absolutely loved the parrot in the breakfast room. Marmaray Sirkeci only 2 mins away so that’s a big plus.

Hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. Hotel is in the heart of Istanbul, historical places and sea front on walking distance. People are friendly and you can also go around on tram which is very cheap under 50 pence per person. Food bit expensive but you can find good quality food in reasonable price.

The day reception were very good and did everything to make you feel welcome. My room was tiny no window felt claustrophobic, my towel had hair as soon as I entered the room and look at the bed where they place the towels. Long hair on towel. aircon lowest was 16degrees which completely giving hot air. Complained about air con and night light not working no one did anything. My second night I could not sleep call reception at 2am to say it's so hot could I at least get a fan. He asked me to call back. Don't think he understood me. I would rate it a 3 star. When I was leaving they gave everyone a leaving present.
