Family stay in Golden Horn
It was my 3rd visit to Golden Horn, this time with family. Choosed it because of location, close to Marmaray, Tram station, and Eminönü. Personnel are very friendly and helpful. Room are clean and tidy. The only thing is rooms are little bit small. But it's not realy big deal comparing with all other advantages. Would like to recommend Golden Horn to thise tourists who want tonexplore Historical Part of Istanbul.

Apparently, the hotel picture is not the one we stayed. It was the other Golden Horn hotel. So, it is misleading. The room and bathroom are so tiny. I paid for 3 persons and an extra bed was placed in a very tiny room that there was no place to put our luggage. No space to walk. In the end, we asked the hotel staff to take the extra bed away and all 3 of us squeezed in combined 2 twin beds. Horrible stays at the hotel.

The services were very good, and the working crew was cooperating, in addition to the good location. It is close to transportation, market, tourist places, and the beauty of the phosphorus and the Burj Galta. We would like to thank the reception staff for their kind treatment and attention🌹🌹

Staff was always very helpful and friendly. Stayed here my first two nights in Istanbul. When I returned back to this hotel on my last evening in the city they kindly upgraded my room. Very good location to many sights. Would stay here again.

the pictures of the Istanbul hotel are not the same as the hotel. The pictures in Expedia is for the other Golden Horn. If I would have seen the really picture of the Golden Horn Istanbul, I would have not stayed. The place is outdated and I was disappointed. the staff was very nice and the place was cleaned, but the room is not what I reserved or saw in the pictures.

Liked the location- near to interesting places and a beautiful park. The beds were comfortable. All the decoration was very dated and tired. The bathroom was so small I could not turn round in it and the fittings and fixtures were very old and the shower head would not stay in place. The cooked part of the breakfast was the same every day but the coffee, when working, was good.

Great view of Bosphorous from many rooms. Close to key tourist areas, restaurants and all transportation. Friendly staff. Breakfast acceptable. Bathroom was too small.

Highly recommended. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Buffet breakfast was fresh, delicious and available from 7:00 am, which is great for early birds. Can't beat the location, super central to shops, restaurants, public transport and major tourist sights. Staff are lovely, always on hand to help. Highly enjoyed my stay. You will too!

Great hotel. Fantastic location right next to the Sirkeci train station, tram, ferry terminal, restaurants and shops. Hotel management and staff were friendly and super helpful. Highly recommended. Thanks Golden Horn Istanbul Hotel! I had a lovely time.

Amazing location!
Rooms are very basic. The rooms have AC which is needed for summer. The breakfast is fairly good with a good selection. If you are lactose intolerant it’s not going to be great for you but if not it’s more of an extensive selection compared to many Turkish hotels. The location was amazing though! Close to many Istanbul highlights and fairly inexpensive compared to other hotels in the area!

Information about the hotel is not correct. Restaurant is on ground floor not on the top floor, because on advertisement shows that the restaurant is on top floor( pic ) To much photoshop on web! Reality is totally deferent!!!

My first impact was good nice foyer .the rooms are comfy ideal for sight seeing and close to pretty much everything.Rooms are quite comfy but no block out curtains.The front staff are so helpful and truly sell the hotel I hope they are well rewarded nice people. I was looking forward to a nice breakfast and that was a let down .At least a nice coffe or Turkish tea.but there is lots around the area to eat.I was also looking forward to have breakfast on the rooftop especially in summer but that seemed abandoned shame. Overall I like the place for the location,staff,and convenience.

Excellent Location and Service!
I stayed at Hotel Golden Horn for 1 night as part of an Intrepid tour and also extended my stay after the tour was over. I found this hotel to be in an excellent and safe neighbourhood and I was a solo female traveler walking every where. It is close to the Orient express station, a police station, many shops & restaurants, Topkapi Palace and Sultanamet. It is walking distance to all of the main sites in other words. The rooms were small, but comfortable and clean. The views from the upstairs "happy hour" lounge was a pleasant surprise! Do not hesitate to visit the 5th floor just to take some beautiful shots of the Bosphorous and Istanbul skyline. The staff was excellent, courteous and professional. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend it to any traveler looking to explore the beautiful city of Istanbul.

Not to recommend!
we stayed there for 4 nights. we arrived very late (after midnight). at check in they wanted to sell us different boat trips and other activities (we were tired, just wanted to check in!) room very small, view to the next hotel, no nice view to the city at all. bathroom very small. breakfast ok - if something is gone, it's gone. you have to ask for more bread or scrambled eggs if empty.
