You have to get used to driving the roads because there aren’t very many straight sections. Čigijn is a charming village and the restaurant in town is excellent. "

"This was a perfect base for our exploration of the area and activities we had planned. It suited our family’s needs and the garden has a beautiful view of the Julian Alps to look at when you sit at the outside table. The host was prompt and effective with communication due to an initial minor issue. The local town is approximately a 5 minute drive with supermarket, cash point machines, pharmacy etc. The bakery in Kanal on the main road was open early to late with a wide range of bread, sweet and savoury pastries."
