Calypso is part of a complex of 3 houses nested on the hills of the bay of Giglio Porto. The charming town of Giglio Porto, situated on the eastern coast, is a colorful row of houses nestled along a cove between two piers, backed by a terraced hill.
Villa Calypso is a 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms property with sea view and a terrace overlooking the bay of Giglio’s harbor. The house is furnished and decorated in a typical marin and naval style, with original pieces and elements of the owner who is a true passionate of sailing.
The property is on 3 levels:
On the ground floor guests will find a welcoming living room with sofas and a fireplace, a dining area with a table hosting up to 8 people and a fully equipped kitchen.
On this level, coming out from the living, a large terrace with a breath-taking view is ready to welcome guests for a 'al fresco' dinners below the trellis, eating fresh local fish grilled on the barbecue, or spending unforgattable moments of relaxation lying on the sunbeds, admiring the village and the whole bay.
On the first floor, there is the twin bedroom with a bathroom, and on the second floor guests will find the master bedroom, the other twin room and a bathroom.
Moreover, a kind and trusted couple living on the island would be there to welcome guests at their arrival and help them with advices and information about the attractions of the island, to make their holiday really special and memorable.
Calypso is located in the beautiful Island of Giglio surrounding by crystal clear water with a rich seabed full of fish that makes a backdrop for an area of 90% still wild where the low Mediterranean bush still reigns with its colors and perfumes. Beautiful sandy beaches and secluded coves, ancient paths immersed in a rich nature, breathtaking views, picturesque Port and the suggestive medieval village of Giglio’s Castle make the island of Giglio a treasure to discover. It is the ideal destination for anyone who loves a genuine relationship with nature and countryside, sea, walks, bird watching, minerals and the fascinating submarine world.
