"The location of Le Bovallon was perfect for us. It was a short walk to Mahebourg and far enough from the town to be nice and quiet. There are a couple of good restaurants and a supermarket within a 5-minute walk, and the beaches of Pointe d'Esny and Blue Bay (best snorkelling on the island) are a 5-10 drive away. Our apartment was clean and quiet and had everything we needed. Breakfast was interesting and nice, consisting of drinks and toast you helped yourself to, and a surprise breakfast of the day that was prepared fresh (waffles, pancakes, omelettes, fruit salads, etc). Le Bovallon was excellent value, and the host and staff were friendly and went beyond what was expected, even allowing us to have a shower after we had checked out due to our late flight.
