"Great old hotel in the middle of a lovely unspoilt village. Very good parking, lovely clean room, excellent service but above all, very dog friendly. A good English breakfast prepared us for our onward journey. Great place, will stay again."
"Such a lovely hotel. Our room was pretty worn looking but clean. To make it a really top stay I'd say some updating of rooms in necessary but we loved our time there. GREAT food and fabulous staff and the hotel is in a beautiful setting. Really worth being based here to travel to Oxford and surrounding areas. "
"Very quirky 600 year old thatched building. We had a large room for 3 of us and a lovely big bathroom with a huge shower cubicle and a bath. The bed was very comfortanle and we slept well even though the building is on a busy road. If you only like 5* hotels, this is not for you! There was ample parking."
