"Our stay at Drake Bay Resort was a truly memorable experience, filled with delightful culinary adventures and breathtaking scenery. The dining options offered were diverse and exquisite—the dinner was particularly memorable, showcasing local flavors that left a lasting impression. Breakfast each morning was equally satisfying, with fresh ingredients that perfectly complemented the beautiful surroundings. We were thrilled with the variety of excursions available, especially the whale-watching tour and horseback riding through the stunning landscapes. These activities allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the natural beauty of Costa Rica. The property manager was especially accommodating, providing us with everything we needed throughout our stay, including a thoughtful surprise—a delicious birthday cake to help us celebrate my birthday weekend. I must mention that the accommodations are quite unique; our room had no television, which I found refreshing as it encouraged us to disconnect and enjoy our surroundings. However, it's important to bring your hiking boots, as reaching our room involved some hiking, which added to the sense of adventure. The views from our room were nothing short of spectacular, overlooking both the ocean and the lush rainforest. This serene and remote retreat was exactly what my wife and I needed—a peaceful escape from our busy lives. The customer service provided by the management team was outstanding, enhancing our overall experience. "

"The staff and facility were both fantastic. They exceeded all of are needs and desires. From our greeting when we arrived to our farewell actually out front. Both Francisco and Michelle came out to bid us a farewell. Francisco even assisted us in the parking which was somewhat tight spaces. Also we really enjoyed the food.both dinner and breakfast were delicious and attractively prepared. It was just a wonderful experience for our group of four"

"We were greeted warmly by the day manager as our boat arrived. She told us we were being given an upgrade with a lovely ocean view. They went out of their way to help us including a very early breakfast before leaving for an overnight stay at La Sirena. Really appreciated the extra help."

"Loved this hotel. Excellent food and service. The view were fabulous, we saw toucans, macaws and humming birds from our terrace. We chose to travel from Sierpe and the boat ride to the hotel was very exciting! Would definitely stay again and hope to come back soon!"

"My family is so glad that we chose this property for our three-night stay in Bahía Drake! The house was spotlessly clean and included everything that we needed. The beds were comfortable and there were more than enough outlets for charging all of our devices. The Wi-Fi worked well, when we needed it. The outside space is beautiful and comfortable and the view of Drake Bay is absolutely stunning! Getting to Drake Bay wasn’t easy, but once we arrived, we discovered that Binya House was in the perfect location with easy access to everything in town (including the beach from which many of the Corcovado tour boats launch). Things to note:- The host, Debra, and the onsite property manager, José, are incredibly friendly, helpful, and responsive.- The home includes gated off-street parking, which is a huge plus given Drake’s narrow streets.- The A/C units are located in both bedrooms. There is a twin bed in the common room (no A/C), but we were easily able to fit it in a bedroom so that we could all sleep with A/C.- Although the listing mentions washer/dryer and they are included in photos of the property, they are no longer available for guest use. However, there is a laundromat right across the street and the caretaker also offered to help us with our laundry.- During our stay, the power to the whole town went out for a couple of hours. The hosts couldn’t control that, but they quickly provided candles and insights to help us stay comfortable.100% recommend!"

"Beautiful wildlife eco tourism facility. Many trails and opportunities right there to view the OSA Peninsula biodiversity. Meals were fabulous. We stayed in their one concrete “hobbit house” like facility which was Charming but lacked good sir circulation to cool down for sleeping despite 2 fans. "
