The place was extremely unclean and not sanitary. Stains on carpet, concrete, walls etc. The low grade air conditioning was not able to keep room cool unless entire balcony had curtains drawn which not only took away from oceanfront but had to enter unfit from bathroom door extending to the balcony. Very poor!

We were very happy staying at Artila Isla Mujeres. The photos and accommodations were accurate. Jose (manager) was amazing to work with. Very helpful and always quick to respond to requests through WhatsApp.We loved sitting on the balcony in both the morning and evening watching the boats pass by. Sunsets were amazing. We had several days were we were the only people in the pool or on the beach.The pool downstairs was very nice. Common area was spotless and well kept by the staff. Beach beds and sand were cleaned every morning we went down. Lots of shade to be found under the 50 palm trees that they have on the property.If you stay here make sure you stop by the drink shack across the street and north a little bit. (Minnino's) He makes some of the best drinks on the island. Fresh mango margaritas.There is a golf cart rental just north of the property that has very nice carts for decent price.

The property was everything we expected and more! Staff are incredibly friendly, the hotel is quite tranquil, and you are just a short golf cart ride from many great beach clubs and restaurants. The private plunge pool was incredible. Would absolutely stay here again!
