the home was nice- little distressed on the inside but if you want to be in town than it was a good experience. Next time would stay closer to the ocean. It fit 7 of us comfortably and was a nice experience, close to everything. Communication was excellent and we felt safe and secure with double locks one on the gate and one at the door.

Basic but adequate

This is a no frills place. Very basic. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen adequately equipped. Some problem with the rooftop railing that need to be addressed. It is noisy due to the central location. Good place for a large family/group and centrally located for exploring the north end of the island

The check in process is awesome, perfect location to walk to all of north end of island. The property rooftop pool is small but perfect for the evenings. The only reason for 4 stars is had some issues with the showers / draining and there’s some things that could be updated and replaced (shower heads, bathmats , kitchen ware ). Overall would stay again

Amazing condo with beautiful views and very clean

Our group had an wonderful stay for the week on Isla at Casa Missy. We were able to walk to all the shoppes and restaurants on Playa Norte or grab a golf cart to run to the south point and the Joint. Such a great time and would recommend to anyone - groups, families, or couples.

Great Location in Centro Isla Mujeras!

Great spot right in the middle of the action. Rooftop pool is perfect for cooling off after a hot day at the beach. AC is super cold and each room has its own thermostat which is really nice. Great place to stay, highly recommend!

spectacular views from roof! Spacious and comfy!

The rooms feature everything that's needed, with many items hand-crafted in Mexico. The hosts, Reginald and his mother, Missy, are extremely helpful and point out the best restaurants and island attractions. We'll certainly be back and will book early as this building is extremely popular.

Perfect place on the Isla

Reginald's apartment is perfect for us. The apartment is in a perfect location, one block from the beach, and has everything you need. The pool on the roof is perfect for the two grand-kids to swim, and for watching the evening sunset. We are regulars and can't wait for next year!

Absolutely loved the penthouse apartment

This was an absolute wonderful place to stay. Loved Hettie who manages and lives in a downstair's apt. It's new, and everything went as planned and any small thing was taken care of. Very spacious, great finishes, loved the roof top pool. 2 blocks to the best beach and right by all the best restaurants. We had a big bedroom and each other couple had their own bedroom, great porch, nice kitchen.

Great Location & Enjoyable Stay

This Condo is in the heart of downtown and was such a convenient location to come back to everyday. Place is steps away from all the restaurants and such a short walk to the beach. The pool on the rooftop was surprisingly deep and was a great place to cool off when taking a break from the beach. AC worked really well, got very cold at night. Enjoyed people watching and looking out over the streets/island from the Balcony and Rooftop. We had absolutely no issues with noise whatsoever when going to sleep. Overall our group enjoyed our stay.

Great location and great views

Upon arrival we were able to drop off our bags early while place was being cleaned. We met back and had all that was needed. Washer and dryer available to wash when we needed it and weekly cleanings. Located in downtown Centre we were steps from multiple great restaurants. Sit on the roof by the pool at night and listen to nearby music. When inside doors are great and quiet.

Better than advertised!

We loved our stay. We've been coming to the island for years but never stayed downtown. We were hesitant because of the noise (we had young kids and babies). This place surpassed our expectations. It felt quiet and private. We loved the rooftop space and pool. We could see sunrise and sunset as well as the entire island. Perfect for a big group. The central location made it easy for everyone to come and go as they pleased. Easily one of our favorite stays on the island. Would try to book again.

Excellent location and owner

Property location is ideal, and the owner is accommodating. A property manager met us, and she was welcoming and kind. Only downsides to the property were things like damaged lampshades and dated CFL bulbs and worn out and limited (2) tiny kitchen towels - - but those are the details to adjust expectations. My family and I absolutely loved our stay here and would and hopefully will stay again. Great owner and great property. I state those points bc I think the owner could correct a few items and actually charge more. We’ll be back, I hope!

Great location, beautiful place

Pros: 4 nice sized bedrooms and 3 nice bathrooms. Kitchen/living space is good size. Balcony and a rooftop. 360 degree water views from the roof. Pool was lovely. Excellent location for a downtown stay. 5 minute walk anywhere in downtown (Playa Norte, bars, restaurants, tacos, malecon, Aki and the Mercado). Great value for a friends trip or for a larger family. Also, the building stands out and is easy to find your way home after a few mojitos. Cons: The kitchen is sparsely outfitted. Living room sofa is not comfortable to sit on. Unaware of how to access laundry facilities. Pool motor is disturbingly loud. Nice stay, will look to book this place again next visit to Isla Mujeres.

Another fantastic stay at Casa Missy!

I've been staying at Casa Missy for 10 years and have loved everything about each and every visit. This was my second stay at the penthouse and it was absolutely perfect again. The home is spacious and well appointed, perfectly clean and comfortable. The owner is wonderfully responsive to communications, and his property manager Miriam was there to meet us on arrival to provide us with all the information we needed to enjoy our stay. This visit was especially appreciated during Covid. With a fully equipped kitchen, rooftop pool and patio, and a fantastic "people watching" balcony, we could have stayed safe at home the whole time if we chose. Isla is doing an excellent job keeping everyone safe with masking and distancing requirements, hand sanitizer widely available, and temperature checks in most restaurants and grocery stores. This was a much needed get away, and I could not be more appreciative of the safety measures in place that made our time on Isla completely stress free and enjoyable. I can't wait to go back!

Not the best of luck!

The place was as advertised, because of improper maintenance the fuse boxes caught on fire, killing all electricity, and water supply. Having to find a new place to stay on the busiest weekend of the island was not easy, although the host refunded us the remaining days, do not help find a new place, or a solution leaving us, stranded, looking for a place. There was no offers to help us find the police or help us move once we found a place, I guess we can chuck it all the bad luck, but it definitely did not make for a good vacation.

Comfortable... close to the beach... Restaraunts and shops at your fingertips 👍

We call this apt, our home away from home. It's wonderful to be a block from the beach, and so close to everything you need or want. The owners are very accommodating, they really try to make you happy. We have been staying in the two bedroom for approximately 6 years now, it works very well for us. If we had a complaint, it would in regards to the night club around the corner that plays very loud music untill 5 am. (Fridays-Sundays) The neighbors have tried to shut it down, but I suspect that someone got paid off... and the music goes on🎶󽠼󽞵... They do supply ear plugs, but doesn't really help. We love the Penthouse, much quieter and so spacious.‼️ Love all the room on the rooftop... the pool is small but perfect for cooling off... I sat on my floating chair reading.., it was perfect‼️ Reginald and Hettie the owners I believe are still trying with other neighbors to have the loud music stopped. So other than that we love Casa Missy ❤️
