Moon Apartments is in a great location, close to everything. The apartment was clean but could use a few upgrades in the kitchen. For an older couple, like us, having the bathroom downstairs and the bedroom upstairs was tough at night. Would have liked to have more than one towel set each for the 4 days we were there and there was no dish soap to wash any dishes with, not that I cooked! It is very secure and there is someone there cleaning the common areas every day. Overall, we were ok with it but it is probably better for a younger person because of the stairs between the bedroom and the bathroom.

The location was perfect and right off the main road, a short walk to dive shops and eateries. The pics were accurate and I felt safe due to the security measures with door locking entrances to the villa area and my individual apartment. There are a few things to note which impacted my review: cleanliness, communication with host, and privacy. The apartment is in desperate need of a deep clean. There are high volume touch points like the walls, light switches, and hand railings that were either black or dark gray because they had not been cleaned (I've included a few images of the worst areas) - along with layers of soap scum in the shower - bring shower shoes! Although the host communicated with me before my arrival, afterwards it went radio silence. I sent messages on each day and they were left without a response. A few hours after my arrival, I asked the host for a covering over the bathroom window as there was a view to two porches on the side of the property, along with a view to one of the living rooms where you could see wall the wall decor. I've included images from bathroom & shower. I contacted the host to see if they could assist, but no response. Due to only being provided 2 towels and one hand towel, I tried using a kitchen rag to cover the window. It worked for the shower, but I did not expect a problem like this in a beach town where people may shower multiple times a day.
