WOW! So so so happy I booked this hotel. It’s very clean and beautiful, but what makes this unique is the service. The staff is incredibly helpful and welcoming. This hotel is very centrally located and the rooms are nice. The bed was very comfortable which I found to be a rarity in Italy. The breakfast alone is worth the stay, I could not believe such an elaborate breakfast was included in the room price. The coffee was phenomenal and the food options were plentiful. I can’t wait to come back!

The location is great. Walkable to port and other area. The beach is nice. The spa was nice and clean. The staff were very helpful. We found the mattresses on the beds to be very uncomfortable. They weren’t old or worn out just hard and unable for us to get comfortable to gave a good night rest for four nights. That’s my only wish was that the beds had some type of comfort topper to make the more comfortable.

This was our second stay at this hotel. The staff is absolutely the best. Always smiling, kind and helpful. The breakfast is amazing. A lot of choices and always tasty and fresh. The outdoor swimming pool is kept very well. Always clean and it looks new. I love that the hotel is located right across the beach. Their lido is a minute away. The thing I don't get is why the umbrella and chairs are not included in the price? Or at least give their guests a discount on the price. But quite a few lidos to the right and left that offer better prices. I guess you pay for the convenience of staying right in front of the hotel. Did not try the spa but they have a lot of choices, rather pricey. Hotel is not right in the main walkway but it's just a few minutes away from the main street. A lot of stores, bars, cafes, restaurants within walking distance. Now for the negatives. The rooms need to have an upgrade. They are very outdated and a lot of the appliances do not work. Both times, in different rooms, the hair dryers did not work. This last time, our fridge did not work. The bathroom door would not close (it was one of those sliding doors that kept sliding open) so we had to get crafty with a plastic bag handle. I think the hotel needs a bit of an upgrade because it is old. We had to ask for more pillows because the ones they had were as flat as pancakes but adding another really didn't make a difference. All in all, a convenient location, great breakfast included, and a great staff!

The hotel was in a great location, walking distance to the port, bus station, great restaurants and shops. However the pool area needs refurbishing to bring up to the expected standards. Decor of our room was tired, interesting location of the washbasin as it was in the bedroom rather than the bathroom which we found far from ideal.

The location is great but lot of the service don’t work the restaurant was closed for lunch or dinner ,the phone in the room didn’t work but charged 4 euro to bring the breakfast in the room but I had to go downstairs !! If you wanted a pool towel they wanted ten euro a day mmm

They had a spa the massage was okay for the price but I would not recommend going to this hotel for a spa. Good location, clean and nice people..

I edited my room with partial sea view I initially booked by Expedia.com but need to cancel last night 09/18/2025, but didn't change anything about this room. When we came to Solamere Beach hotel we had been offered just a small standard room without any view. It is not a hotel who change my initial booking room there, it was done by expedia.com, that's was we had been told. It was very upsetting, especially when you come to this palce to rest by the sea.
