"The hotel was a comfortable place to spend a couple of days exploring Portland. My room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I missed not having a personal coffee station in my room. Thankfully, there were many good coffee shops near by. I was both surprised and uncomfortable with the amount of homeless near the hotel and around the downtown area. Overall, I would recommend the Paramount to anyone staying in Portland for a few days."

"We stayed for one night and it was a decent stay overall — nothing remarkable but nothing bad either. The location is a definite plus, especially if you're heading to the Moda Center as it's just a short distance away. The one thing that left a sour taste was the parking. We were charged $30 with no prior mention that parking wasn't complimentary. A heads up at check-in or on the booking page would have gone a long way. Transparency around fees like this really does make a difference to the overall experience."

"This is a super new property as what I heard from the staff is only 6 months "old". The location is very convenient to coffee shop/restaurants. Most importantly it is right across the playground and my kids can go play all the time. There are plenty of street parking so you can save some valet money if you don't mind feeding the meters. Overall it is a very pleasant stay with super friendly front desk staff. We will come stay again. "
