"This property was excellent. The house has the most magnificient views of the area. Our room was beautiful and clean. Our breakfast options were plentiful. Our hosts, Valerie and Ken were very knowledgable about the area and their suggestions for dining and sightseeing were excellent. It was the best B & B that I have ever stayed at.

"Extremely convenient location — close to shopping, restaurants, and pubs. The staff was very friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again!"
"We stayed at the Haslem Hotel over the weekend and had a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We had requested a cot for our room, which was already set up – such a thoughtful touch that made things so much easier for us as a family with a young baby.
The hotel’s lobby is beautifully decorated, creating a warm and modern atmosphere. We also really enjoyed both dinner and breakfast – the food was excellent, with great quality and flavour.
One thing we really appreciated was the live music in the evening – it had a calm and inviting feel, perfect for a weekend stay. And despite the entertainment downstairs, our room was peaceful and quiet, which was a huge plus with a baby.
Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend the Haslem Hotel. It’s a great choice for families and couples looking for comfort, style, and great service."
"We loved our stay at Leonardo, will likely never stay anywhere else in Belfast.
Pros: Location was not just good, it was perfect, walking distance to main transit hub at city hall, train and bus station. Biggest room we had in Europe. Good price. Reservation said it was a double bed, but I believe it was a queen and quite comfortable. Bathroom was a good size. Shower was good. Bath products offered were good. Breakfast was one of the best hotel ones I have seen (quality and number of options). Blackout curtains were very dark.
The only con was the room was quite warm and we could only open the window a crack. "
"Really enjoyed the Little Cottage , located in a nice quiet area . They also have a Chapel on the property ( if you fancy a quiet Wedding ) . Also had a couple of sheep and a Mule , kid's would love it .
It's a well situation location for Visiting other popular area's . "

Founded in 1981, Hilden Brewery in Lisburn is the oldest independent brewery in Ireland. It is to be found in the grounds of Hilden House, a Georgian manor once home to the Barbour linen company. Here it was that Thomas Andrews, ill-fated designer of the Titanic (the ship left from Belfast, 15 minutes up the road), was married to a Barbour sister. To mark the regeneration of Belfast’s riverside Titanic Quarter, a special pale ale was commissioned from the brewery. Other prominent guests at the house have included William Wordsworth and Edward VIII.
