Nice hotel with a lovely view The rooms are large with fridge and coffee We had a great evening at the pub which is attached to the motel Will book again, but… A few details needing attention The two chairs on our deck were in rough shape, one was actually missing a leg. Only two creamers and two sugars left for coffee and two empty packages. Hairs on bathroom floor looked like they have come off the mop.

This place has incredible views! Love having onsite services of a pub (so cute), chocolatier (some of the best chocolates I've had) and convenience store. Made the stay quite unique. Staff are very friendly. Room was clean.

This is an older property, but great time and effort has gone into its update, while still retaining its charm. Great pub attached, and the rooms have good sized balconies overlooking the water. Good breakfast and very friendly staff.

What a unique spot, with beautiful views of Bras d’Or Lake, and the staff are amazing, especially at the little Frolic and Folk Pub. We had a wonderful stay.

The view over the lake is outstanding. Everyone working at the hotel is very friendly and helpful. Though Iona is rather isolated, this motel offers a pub/restaurant, a liquor and snacks store too. Next door is the Highland Village, an outdoor museum showing how Scottish settlers lived. You can’t beat the price of this motel. It has very comfortable mattresses and the bathrooms look like they are recently redone. Simple, spartan but clean. Each room also has a coffee-maker, fridge & microwave. The pub also has live music certain days.

Unfortunately I wasn't very well so couldn't take full advantage of the facilities. I had hoped to tour the Highland Village and have a nice meal in the pub. Instead I spent much of two days in bed. Needless t say, that had nothing to do with the Inn. I will certainly return if the opportunity arises. Good staff, clean facility. Only complaint would be no easy access to TV News & weather.
