It’s in a great location to access the local bus stop to the slopes. Also next to ski hire and other local shops. However the hotel itself I feel is more 3 stars. The rooms are very dated, on occasions smelly ( in bathrooms). The breakfast is excellent but expensive. The dinner was a shocker - awkward service and food very salty. Quality terrible. The other local restaurants had much better options. All in all I would shortlist if your options are limited. I personally would not recommend.

The staff were attentive to my request (early check in). The only disappointing thing was that the pillows were very thick and firm. I would have liked softer ones. Overall excellent hotel.

Mostly very good.
In 2023, WIFI should work properly. No joy during our stay. I have stayed at this hotel > 80 days in my life, and I have always loved it. Some trip hazards noticeable to someone with limited mobility. Easy to fix. Service at front desk was very good.

Nice stay in the Austrian Alps
Hotel was decent. Could use some upgrades to the rooms and hallways. Spa was decent but had limited hours. Also, keep in mind the sauna is only open from 1600-2000 every day.

Nice hotel but badly run.
Pros: Nice hotel, nice room, nice pool. Cons: Mainly rude staff, WiFi not working, kitchen filthy beyond words. The worst thing about it though was how they are trying to con guests about the quality of their food - „Original Sacherwürstel“ for standard frankfurters, „homemade“ Gniocchetti straight out the packet, etc. I’m Austrian myself and the dishonest behaviour of some black sheep shines a bad light on all of us. Shameful!

Comfortable property with Alpine character and well-appointed rooms. Very quiet as between seasons, not much choice for eating in the village but hotel restaurant had a nice if a bit pricey restaurant. Good en route stop.

Amazing Hotel
Beautiful hotel close to slopes and Innsbruck centre. Wonderful, friendly, helpful staff Great, spacious room with balcony and gorgeous views. Excellent spa and pool. Really enjoyed our stay here. Were given Innsbruck cards which came in really handy and gave us free bus travel and discounts for the duration of our stay.

Very nice building in a pretty, quiet village a few minutes’ drive from Innsbruck. Enjoyed the sauna/pool/garden area. Buffet breakfast is decent, even though for a four stars hotel standard hotel the quality should be a bit higher. The rooms are spacious and the bed comfortable, but bathrooms and some interior decor are very tired/worn and need updating.

Nice sport hotel with much potential
Great property. Feels like they are finishing up on renovation to update the place. The bartender summed it up saying ‘it is a work in progress’. Only complaint was summer staffing levels. Breakfast staff looked overworked. A dinner reservation was lost resulting in a promised table for a romantic dinner being given to a family and we we stuck listening to misbehaved children all dinner.

Most terrible beds I have ever seen.The beds were broken and the thin mattress fell in like a hammock. Will remember the place after so much back pain we got both my husband and I. Simply outrageous and do not recommend it.

Friendly staff

The hotel is well located, but it’s infra is in need of modernization. It takes 15 min for the water to get hit enough for a shower. The surroundings are stunning, perfect for trekking. Food and beverage in the village is extremely limited.

Awesome stay!
Loved it! Comfortable beds, great breakfast, you can buy Innsbruck cards from the hotel. Only thing is I wish our room had a better view - even though our booking said it had a view from the room all you could see was the window of the building across the street.

Igls is great
Known Sporthotel for years. Just sold this July so new owner going to remodel and spruce it up which is does now need. Staff are always wonderful and go to no end of trouble when asked. Bed very hard. But generally lovely ambiance. Great views. And good location. J bus takes you wherever you need to go very efficiently. Breakfast coffee dreadful !! But in a town of brilliant coffee can find that elsewhere. Have always liked the hotel. That didn't change. Full of character. Needs upgrade now. But reflected in the cost.

Clean hotel with large enough room for family of 4. Good to have pool on site and hotel was in a great location. Breakfast good and staff generally friendly.

It was low season for Innsbruck and the whole experience was very relaxed. Wonderful breakfasts at the start of long vacation days. Convenient public transport to ski zones as well as downtown.
