"Everything about this cabin, the owners, and its location are perfect! If you’re looking to explore the national and state parks in this area and don’t like to move from place to place during a vacation, the location of this cabin couldn’t be more ideal (including to Wind Cave, Jewel Cave, Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, Devil’s Tower, Spearfish Canyon, and Custer State Park). Regarding the cabin itself, I liked it so much that I cut my last day short in the parks to go back and soak up the coziness and comfort of the cabin. Perhaps most importantly, the owners, Aaron and Michelle, are sweet as pie. Aaron’s pre-trip communication couldn’t have been better. Also they’re right next door or an easy phone call away in case you need them for any reason (I didn’t). In sum, I loved this place and would recommend without hesitation. "I lived in Custer 51 years ago and it was a very nice place to stay while we revisited some old sites."

"The cabin was perfect for my husband and me. Very cozy, and clean. We loved watching deer come down from the hill outside the dining room and drink out of the stream. The outside fire pit and grill worked great. The spot was closer to the highway than what we expected, but tucked down to where we didn’t see much for traffic, but could definitely hear it. Beautiful accommodations."
