"Horrible experience. After paying in full for our ski vacation, we received absolutely no communication from the host—no check-in instructions, no entry code, and no response to repeated messages and calls.We arrived at the property and were unable to access the home. Vrbo also attempted to contact the host multiple times with no response. As a result, our family was forced to find a last-minute hotel approximately 40 minutes away late at night in winter conditions.After more than 5½ hours on the phone with Vrbo, the reservation was ultimately cancelled due to the host’s failure to provide services, and we were refunded. This was by far the worst experience we have had while traveling. I would not recommend this host."

"I chose this motel for its proximity to Gore Mountain for 2 days of skiing. The motel was very quiet and so close to Gore Mountain. I highly recommend this motel for all the amenities you need for a 3 night stay. "

"This is kind of like staying in a cabin. It is rustic. Very cleanfor an old building. If you look at the pictures it is what it is along with the price. The biggest draw back for us is it reeks from smoke. Whether it's from long time smokers living there or people who live downstairs, I don't know. They don't allow smoking now but it really needs an ozone machine. I hate writing a bad review but you need to look closely at the pictures. It was a convenience for us to stay in that location which is right downtown. "
