"This cabin was wonderful. It was beautiful, spacious, and clean, with excellent amenities throughout. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the great room was a warm, homey space where our whole family could gather. Beds were comfortable with lots of mountain views. The property was private and peaceful, with a truly remote location that was absolutely worth it for the quiet, lake and mountain views, and the four-season enjoyment this place offers. We did like the well-kept original cabin vibe. The host was exceptional—attentive, thoughtful, and incredibly helpful. They even provided a list of small items to bring to make our stay better, which was much appreciated. Firewood was available for purchase on site. Despite the remote location, the WiFi was excellent (no cell coverage), and there was great water pressure with plenty of hot water. Everything was easy and stress-free. We highly recommend this cabin and would happily stay again. We appreciate the great hosts."
"I chose this motel for its proximity to Gore Mountain for 2 days of skiing. The motel was very quiet and so close to Gore Mountain. I highly recommend this motel for all the amenities you need for a 3 night stay. "
"Leslie was very welcoming, the cabin was very well furnished in a spare, beautiful way. The view of the mountains from the bed was a real treat, as was the deep Japanese hot tub."
A clean and cozy centrally located rental, walking distance to all amenities
10/10 Excellent
"This is kind of like staying in a cabin. It is rustic. Very cleanfor an old building. If you look at the pictures it is what it is along with the price. The biggest draw back for us is it reeks from smoke. Whether it's from long time smokers living there or people who live downstairs, I don't know. They don't allow smoking now but it really needs an ozone machine. I hate writing a bad review but you need to look closely at the pictures. It was a convenience for us to stay in that location which is right downtown. "
"Spending a week in this charming cabin was refreshing. It offers a calm, quiet atmosphere, beautifully accented with impressive taxidermy and authentic rustic details. We weren’t looking for a modern vibe, but we didn’t want to be off-grid either—this was the perfect blend of nostalgic charm and modern convenience. With remote work in the mix, reliable Wi-Fi was essential, and it didn’t disappoint. The hosts have truly created a space that feels like stepping back in time—one you won’t want to leave."
