"Clean room, enjoyed coffee in our room, fridge and microwave came in handy for restaurant leftovers. Right next to highway, so not super quiet, but not bad. Didn't use the pool."

"Park visitor center is 15 minutes, Black Bear and IHOP nearby. Shopping center across highway. We were here in early March 2026, it is windy and cool at night. Room has good insulation, didn't turn heat on. Good blankets. Attempted hotel wifi, but it didn't work and not that important. Beware there is no wifi or cell coverage once you go inside Joshua Tree NP. It is the wilderness isolation you traveled for."

"When we first were assigned our room and entered, it was obvious that the room had been smoked in. We went back to the lobby and asked to be assigned a non-smoking room. When we went in our new room assignment, the room did not smell as bad, and had an air freshener. The bed in the room was set up on a frame, and had a cover, but the pillows did not have covers on them (not to be confused with pillowcases, which were present). We ended up going to Walmart and getting cheap pillows instead. The floors were a little sticky, but were swept clean. There aren't many hotel options in the Joshua Tree / Twentynine Palms area, so this had to do. It fits the definition of a budget hotel. "

"After being bedridden for three months, I was looking for a healing, quiet, and peaceful retreat. The Azure Palm exceeded my expectations! From halo therapy and meditation in the Himalayan Salt room, to soaks in the oasis hot springs or evening swims in California’s largest mineral pool (open 24 hours for overnight guests) each day was met with healing and tranquility. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and secure in every area of this amazing, beautiful, and awe inspiring place. This resort is a quiet environment and the staff will gently remind anyone speaking loudly of this, so if you’re looking to party, this isn’t the place for you. Also be prepared to book spa services in advance as the spots fill up quickly. I stayed in the spa suite and the large soaking tub was the highlight of my trip. I’m already planning my next trip to this lovely and healing place."
