"We stayed in an Airstream suite for one night. The staff were kind and friendly. The room itself was not bad, but the skillet was greasy and covered with ash, and the cutting board clearly had leftover food residue from previous use. Additionally, the blanket stored in the sofa bed seemed used—it was wrinkled and had a noticeable odor. Unlike some reviews, we did not have issues with the air conditioning, though there was some noise. The biggest concerns were the room cleanliness and the checkout policy. A 4 PM check-in and 10 AM checkout seem unreasonable, especially given that Airstream accommodations naturally require more time for proper cleaning and preparation. With such an early checkout, expecting guests to leave everything perfectly organized is unrealistic, which makes thorough housekeeping even more important. Our one-night stay was manageable, but overall, we would not choose to stay here again."

"We had a wonderful stay at Villa dei Fiori and would absolutely recommend it for a unique Joshua Tree experience. The owner was very communicative, friendly, and welcoming. They gave us an exceptionally thorough tour on arrival, walking us through every detail of the property, which made it easy to settle in and fully enjoy our stay.The home itself is full of character, with interesting art throughout that adds personality. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The pool was a major highlight—beautiful, refreshing, and perfectly set among the desert landscape. It was exactly what we were hoping for and a great place to relax and take in the surroundings.The outdoor space is incredible, with rocks, caves to explore, and plenty of room to walk. We saw quail, lizards, kangaroo rats, and even a roadrunner (we were told the owner sometimes has treats for it, which was a fun touch).We brought our dogs and the property worked well for them, though there isn’t a fenced area for off-leash running. That said, we enjoyed walking them around the grounds.Overall, a peaceful, memorable stay with a great host—we would definitely come back."

Pros: • private patio with a fire pit and two chairs • an outdoor mattress that can be used for stargazing • comfortable bed • amazing pour over coffee provided in the room • high quality toiletries provided Cons: • no iron/ironing board provided in the room • the floor was mildly dirty upon arrival • the door was really hard to close, had to use plenty of force • I think some covers need to be provided for the outdoor mattress because it was pretty dusty Some things to consider: • moonlit patio room is half of a shipping container so expect a very small room • expect to disconnect from technology as this room did not have a television, which I liked"
