The hotel offers a truly memorable stay, blending comfort with a distinct sense of character that sets it apart from standard accommodations. From the moment of arrival, the atmosphere feels warm and thoughtfully designed, with staff who are attentive without being overwhelming.

I had a wonderful stay at Marina del Rey Hotel. The location is beautiful, the staff was warm and welcoming, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind, with gorgeous views of the marina. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The property is gorgeously restored and maintains its unique ambiance. Checked in after typical office hours (about 5 pm on a Sunday) and it was easy to use the call box for admission with the night manager. Rooms were very spacious (we had a smaller unit / jr suite with city view and had plenty of room with the kitchenette and sitting area. Very convenient to walk to downtown Santa Monica, Montana Avenue, Balboa Park, and the beach and boardwalk (be prepared to walk down a fairly steep cliff for the beach yet very fun to do so). Given the era and natural restoration of the property, there is no AC (was a little caught off guard at first). The ceiling fan was fine and there is a floor fan in the closets (ours was missing and the evening manager brought one up for us). It was slightly cool in the room in the evening and morning and pleasant to open the windows and experience the ocean breeze. Really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

As always an excellent experience. Restaurant staff was especially terrific.
