"We stayed at Nuup Hotel in mid-April, and even though the weather was still on the cooler side and the pool wasn’t open yet, the experience was absolutely lovely. The property itself is incredibly charming—tucked away between trees and mountains, it feels like a hidden retreat. With fewer guests during this time, the atmosphere was especially peaceful, quiet, and elegant. It’s easy to imagine how vibrant and even more enjoyable it would be in the warmer months when the pool is open and the surroundings are in full bloom. One of the highlights was the breakfast and restaurant area, which overlooks a small pond filled with animals. It adds such a unique and calming touch to the setting. The natural beauty around the hotel is truly special—lush, serene, and perfect for unwinding. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway immersed in nature, this is a fantastic spot. There are plenty of opportunities nearby for hiking and biking, and you’re only about a 30-minute drive from a stunning coastline. Overall, Nuup Hotel offers a peaceful escape with a lot of character. We’d definitely love to return in the summer to experience it in a different season."

"The hotel itself is nice and in a perfect location if you’re looking for peace and quiet. It’s also within walking distance of a charming town centre (about 20 minutes at a brisk pace). The rooms are on the smaller side, and the standard rooms without sea view are very dark, as they overlook a garden with a large tree blocking much of the daylight. Breakfast is good, but if you’re staying for a longer time it becomes repetitive as it’s exactly the same every day. This is also the first hotel we’ve been to where we were charged extra for eggs, sucuk, omelettes, or menemen. Coffee wasn’t included with breakfast, and no water was served either, which felt disappointing. The staff are helpful, but they often looked bored and were on their mobile phones a lot. The beach definitely needs more attention – bins weren’t emptied daily, and on several occasions we found glass and even a dead bird, with no sign that the area was being checked regularly. Perhaps this was because it was the end of the season, but basic cleanliness should be consistent all year round. Overall, the hotel is nice and has potential, but it does need some improvements to make the experience feel more polished and welcoming. "

"We arrived for a full lunar eclipse. The patio provided a great view. There are NO other houses or lights to be seen. In the distance there was faint, faint dog barking but otherwise the house is totally quiet. Eeva provided food items, especially for breakfast. It was much-appreciated. It was so nice to be so isolated yet so close to Marmaris, but you should have a rental car. The outside air was wonderful in the evenings. If there were screens, doors could be left open and bugs and cats would be denied entry. The air conditioning kept me very comfortable. We cooked every night but 2. If the slatted table in the kitchen had a solid top, it could be used as a workplace for food prep. The kitchen is well-stoked with utensils. It was a great stay."

"What an absolute joy it was to spend 2 weeks at Banana Valley Villa. So peaceful, I am normally ready to be going home after 2 weeks away but I didn’t want to leave Banana Valley. Everything we needed was catered for by the very lovely Eava who also provided an excellent food package, allowing us to relax gently into our stay. We will definitely return x"
