"Great little hotel in the Normandy countryside. About a 15 minute drive to Monet's garden and a number of good restaurant options. The hotel has a restaurant with limited food options, but a great bar and sitting area. Beautiful grounds in a quiet location with plenty of fresh air."

"The property location, with views of the Seine River below, was excellent. All of the amenities were first class and our meals were excellent. We really enjoyed our stay and the nearby Monet Gardens!"

"Enough space for family of four and probably for more, very nice breakfast with home-made yogurt, great drinks with fresh baguettes, croissants, and pain-au-chocolats.
Great hospitality and flexibility of the host will be remembered for a long time."

"Stayed here for 1 night in late September 2025. The hotel is stunning, with fantastic grounds and gardens. The breakfast was fantastic, and we didn’t expect the chocolate brownie, which was a nice treat. The evening fine dining was expensive but delicious, and the ales and beers from vexin were top notch. The grounds around the hotel feel very safe, and we were able to store 2 bicycles in an outside storage facility, which was secure."

"The hotel was very good, but the rooms would benefit from a King Size bed rather than an ordinary double.
The restaurant and value for money was excellent. Would recommend if you are in the area."

"Great service, very clean & tidy, well maintained. Room was clean & bathroom. Breakfast consists of a good selection. Restaurants close by to walk to. "
"We were passing through. Such a convenient stop from the motorway, easy to find and the late checkin with the code worked well.
Great travelling with two dogs. Very clean and secure car park."
"Perfectly situated for a mid holiday stop over. Reception were excellent no fuss getting checked in. Rooms adequate if not modernised but perfect for a family and all you need. Location is near a massive retail park 3 m
ins drive where you can get some food in the evening hours. Breakfast was also spot on. Recommend a stay if passing."
Château de Villiers-le-Mahieu, Les Maisons de Campagne
8/10 Good
"We were late for breakfast but could go for the late breakfast that was supposed to be viennoiseries and fruit.
The viennoiseries were good, but the fruit were plain bananas and apples and there was no milk for the coffee, only creamer.
That was quite disappointing."
