"I used this hotel for a business trip. I was there for two days in total. The first shock was when I drove up to the hotel. It was a roughly 500m long, unkempt gravel road. When I arrived at the hotel, I was greeted by a really run-down hotel complex. The rooms were unacceptable. Wallpaper was torn off. The bathroom was very unkempt. The shower didn't work. There was also no toilet paper. I had to get a roll from reception. The gentlemen at reception asked me to bring me another roll. I refused...

For me, I thought it was great and gave a great feel for the city compared to staying at a big name resort. May look a bit sketchy but never felt unsafe. Rooms are exactly as pictured. "Great service, attentive staff and nice view on the Nile. The breakfast is wonderful with egg station, waffle/pancake station and a variety of food. Quite the spread. I would recommend to get it when you book your room. It avoid the hassle to get it outside of the hotel. We also tried the Nubian restaurant at night for more local food. This restaurant is part of the hotel so very practical at night. Room was okay. But all good as we only need two to three days maximum in Cairo. Frankly two days...
