"Lack of on site personnel made things a bit difficult as other guests kept coming in late and banged on the door at midnight when they couldn’t get the code to work to enter the property. Showers were cleaned but had a bit of sewage smell. Showers could use some upgrades."

"The hosts sent a message the night before with all the information needed to arrive to our destination easily! The unit was so unique, overlooking the water with the sheep / horse farm behind the property. The compact kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. The blackout curtains let in some light but overall did a great job at blocking most! We would highly recommend anyone looking for a quiet stay near Hvammstangi."

"Quiet location, nearby horses to see across the fence, friendly staff, but description needs to be changed/updated to reflect that dinner is available, not just breakfast. We tried to message the hotel the day before to confirm dinner availability but did not receive a response. I do admit I should have called instead of using Travelocity's method of communication and was sorry to have missed dinner which sounded very good. Also, the hotel is nearly 2k walk to the lake, 9k to Hvitserkur."
