The best time to visit Igloolik is during the summer months, from late June to early September, when the weather is mildest and wildlife is most active.During this period, the temperatures are much more comfortable, often rising above freezing, and the sun shines for nearly 24 hours a day, offering ample time for exploration. This is ideal for adventurers and those keen on experiencing the Arctic's natural beauty without extreme cold. This time of year is superb for wildlife viewing, as many migratory birds return to the area, and marine mammals like seals and whales are more frequently spotted in the open waters.
