The staff was lovely and the room quite comfortable, by Western standards for a Japanese room (although the futons were by far the hardest and most uncomfortable of the three ryokans we visited). The location is great, but it is barely enough equipped, not very clean, and there is no other way than to disturb the host to get in the house every time you come in.
