There were some quirky things about the lights in the room such as the foyer light being on a sensor that seemed to be activated when approached from a distance. It took a long time to go out! "My brother and I stayed here whilst visiting our family graves from world war 1 around Ypres. The hotel was an excellent base for the visit, and even has a bunker, field gun , trenches and shells, and a massive crater within the grounds of the hotel. If I was in the area again I would be happy to stay here again "

"Short 1 night stay to break up journey across Europe. Sadly breakfast not available, but plenty of places available a short walk from the premises. Check in and getting room key was straightforward with plenty of information prior to arrival. Room was very spacious, modern and well equipped. Everything was in good order and clean. Would recommend and will hopefully be staying again on my return journey/"
