Mountain View: Gorgeous Views, AC, Jacuzzi bathtub!

This Charming Modified A Frame home is bright with tall ceilings, windows, and brand new wood floor throughout. Very functional layout with 2 large bedrooms upstairs, each with sliding doors to the large deck with Lily Rock view. Open concept kitchen, living and dining with create the perfect family and entertaining space. The large en suite with views and large bathroom big windows and jetted tub and separate shower. A center-piece, free-standing wood stove provides ample heat with additional forced heat with smart thermostat. Downstairs is a large family room/den with built in bar. There is a queen size air mattress with electric pump to accommodate and additional 2 guests for a total of 6 persons. Ample parking with paved driveway and additional circle drive. Both upstairs bedrooms are queen-sized beds. The showers are hot and the house is really new although it looks and feels like a rustic, A frame cabin. Deer eat from the bird feeder out back and birds eat peanuts from the front porch bannister if you put them out.

Pets: We (Do ) allow Dogs (2 maximum) (Cats may or may not be allowed depending on the property). There is a $130 pet fee (2 dog max) depending on breed and home; $170 pet fee for bookings between November 1st- January 15th. Stays beyond 3 days, or exceed the 2-dog max, may be subject to additional Pet Fees. IF CATS ALLOWED, it is a flat rate for the duration of stay of $250.00 or $500.00, it is all depending on the property. SPECIAL REQUEST PETS OUTSIDE OF DOGS MUST BE APPROVED BY PROPERTY MANAGEMENT PRIOR TO DAY OF ARRIVAL.



Guests under the age of 25 years of age will provide an additional security deposit of $250 on the day of arrival.

Magical respite and retreat!

Enjoyed my husband’s birthday in this quaint, quiet spot! Fantastic places to explore and shop, but also the peacefulness of being close to town without being in the mix if you don’t want to! We’ll definitely be back soon!

A Beautiful Idyllwild Retreat

This cozy home in the woods of Idyllwild was the perfect escape from the daily grind! Nestled in a peaceful setting, it offered a gorgeous view of the mountains from the spacious porch, which quickly became our favorite spot to relax. The in-home jacuzzi was a luxurious touch, perfect for unwinding after a day exploring. Just a short drive to the town center and nearby trails, the location was ideal for convenience and adventure. Highly recommend for anyone looking to recharge in a serene, beautiful setting!

Great Get away

This was our first time to Idyllwild and we had a great experience. The cabin was spacious and had a really nice view on the deck. It was close to town and had everything we needed. Will def be back

Great mountain house

I picked the house for the mountain view. Everything was great. Even saw deer behind the fence in the back. House was cozy, comfortable, quiet, beautiful scenery and close enough to town. Very clean. Management very responsive. Bring your own coffee fyi.

Spotless home. Gorgeous views. Everything we needed and more. We even saw a buck in the yard. We watched Squirrels and beautiful Blue Jays. Jacuzzi Tub was awesome. We really couldn’t have been more pleased.

Quiet retreat

We were looking to escape the noise of local fireworks and found this to be a lovely and quiet place to stay with great amenities. Close to town, yet far enough away to avoid the commotion of town. Don’t trust your GPS to find it, though. We found some great restaurants and enjoyed the town ambiance.

Gorgeous view and comfortable cabin

We stayed for a couple nights and felt very comfortable there. Good furniture and bed. Especially a soak in the big tub. We had a problem with the fire starter and management company was there within minutes to provide a new one. I highly recommend this place to stay.

Stood here 1 year ago and glad to stay again. 4 night stay thru New Years. Cozy A-Frame, stocked kitchen, new flooring, warm beds, scenic views. We were lucky to be there during snowfall about 6 inches in 2 days. Stocked with necessities. Wish they had a grill and outdoor patio table. Was making a lasagne dish, but no baking dish, so made stovetop version instead. driveway is steep, caution during snow on top driveway. Lower pull through driveway easier access during snow.

Our experience

The cabin was comfortable and clean with nice views . The annoyances that we encountered were two. First, if you want to do things off the mountain like visit Palm Springs/Dessert, etc. the mountain road requires very focused attention as it has more hairpin turns and curves than any mountain road I have driven. Secondly, the cabin driveway area is hilly and small making it did difficult to maneuver a larger car. If you come here when it snows, the road to the house and driveway would most probably be treacherous.

The view from the deck is beautiful and at night the stars are magical. We came last year for our 10th anniversary and enjoyed ourselves so much we returned for our 11th. This would be a comfortable rental if you have a small family (with just us 2 there's more than enough room) Be sure to follow the provided directions & take the second Foster Lake Rd.The kitchen is great for preparing meals at the cabin & there is a cute little grocery store if you extend your stay! It's only a few minutes to town. The staff is very nice and provides helpful information regarding your stay.

Mountain View

Outstanding place to make memories. We stayed up late to see the stars, play board games and spend quality time together. Short drive into town for delicious dinner, early morning coffee and listening to live music.

Peaceful home with amazing views

We were so lucky to enjoy this beautiful home just after fresh snow which made it extra magical. There are so many things we loved about our stay. Very clean, very comfortable and very spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans for cooking. The jacuzzi tub was so nice and felt luxurious. I would love to stay here again for a longer trip.
