Indian Heaven Treehouse is on a private street nestled within the majestic San Bernardino National Forest (but minutes from town) with tall pines and cedars. This first class, well maintained home will spell-bind you with nature. Guests have said the cabin has views equal to that of Yosemite. With double master bedrooms (Black Bears Den & Princess Red Feather) and a colorful fishing loft (which has a secret fishing hole for family movies and reading) this home is will be your unforgettable forest retreat.

Fantastic snowy winters, this quaint village has been voted best 100 Art towns in USA, wine festivals, Jazz in the Pines, Desert to Mountain Bike race, nearby Lake Fulmor and Lake Hemet.

This extremely special Mountain Home has neck breaking views w backdrops of the Monolithic Lilly Rock and Tahquitz Peak.

A custom designed "Indian Lore Theme'' that reflects the natural elements and beauty of the area with rocks, leather, fur, horns, old oil paintings of Bears and knurled Indian faces.

Home is at approx 6500-6800 altitude, can be snowing at my home and not in the town. In fact, snowmen have appeared on Father's Day!
Every escape to this remarkable retreat will warm your heart and memories, Exceptional custom bedding and towels, themed for each holiday; including accent pillows dining plates, napkins, coffee cups.

PS: pillow and sock fights are allowed.
IMPORTANT: Even though this is an open forest feeling, there are private property's, and my back yard stops at the giant satilite dish and continues to the left. You can snow play on my yard and on the main street when safe. Please no sledding on neighbor's driveways.

Beautiful home!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home and in Idylwild. The owner was so hospitable, sent us ideas, recommendations in town, etc. the backyard is beautiful with wonderful deck seating and active bird life! A one of a kind place, highly recommend!

Amazing family trip!

This cabin is wonderful! Our family had so much to do here. The kids were never bored and we spent a lot of time outside. Andrea was very responsive and gave us a lot of tips of things to do and see.

We had a great stay before Thanksgiving. Andrea went out of her way to leave some thoughtful Thanksgiving-themed surprises for my kids to discover and provided lots of suggestions for area attractions. Highly recommend.

Relaxing Retreat!

Loved this memory making home. Couldn't have been better for Nana! Everything we needed and more, and they were so thoughtful, and communitive, which made our trip easy! Would love to go back, and thank them some day!

Great Family Getaway

This house is amazing, it's some warm and cozy inside with all the decorations and cool stuff (games and much more) for adults and kids to play with. The fireplace is AMAZING as is the front porch and they've recently added an amazing outdoor area (probably not shown in photos) with a fireplace and TV and more situated right under a gazebo in the woods. We've stayed here twice and will be back. Humber Park is right down the road for hiking and snowplay.

Surpassed Expectations

The location of the cabin allowed a spectacular view and had many perks that entertained the whole family. Park yard pergola that had a tv and heaters was cleverly set up with beautiful landscape. The whole cabin was decorated with a focus on Native American paintings and relics. The garage was set up for entertainment with a ping pong table, bicycles, and sleds for the snow. My family and I had an amazing experience and recommended this cabin for a beautiful getaway.

Great place for a family get together

We met up to celebrate my mom’s 88th birthday. The owner went out of her way to spoil my mom and the rest of us. We had a fabulous time! My granddaughter adored the little room with all the teddy bears and the rest of us loved the comfy beds and plentiful amenities. A great time was had by all!

Wonderful place! Felt like we were in the wilderness

We had an amazing time, we only wish we could have stayed longer. The place was well stocked, the location is amazing. Surrounded by trees, truly felt like we stayed somewhere in the wilderness, yet the town is a 5 minute drive. We even were able to walk to downtown, although that's a half hour brisk walk. The host was amazing and provided us with tons of information about the area, was very responsive and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. Highly recommended unique place, we would love to come back one day!

Indian style cabin

We loved this cabin! We loved the Native American decor throughout the cabin. The cabin was clean and fully stocked. The host Andrea was very responsive, helpful and offered alot of information about what to do in idyllwild. She is an amazing host. The cabin was very cozy and we loved the gazebo. The location is great, close to town and trail with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. We highly recommend this cabin and ar we going to try and stay in it again!

Great Cabin in the woods!

We stayed one night in preparation for our hike up to the top of San Jacinto. The cabin was just what we needed. Clean, spacious, large deck/patio, fun garage game room. Owner is super nice and has tons of recommendations for things to do and places to eat in town. Great stay, thanks again!

A Perfect Retreat for Relaxation and Fun

My family and I had an absolutely wonderful stay! Andrea’s home was beautiful, cozy, and truly felt like a retreat. A weekend just wasn't enough to enjoy all that it had to offer. The game setup was such a fun addition and the welcome snacks yummy! My family especially loved spending time at the ping pong table. The outdoor electric fireplace was a perfect spot to unwind and relax, creating the most serene atmosphere. Andrea was an excellent host and most helpful with proving fun things do in Idyllwild. I definitely recommend staying at Indian Heaven Treehouse.

Great Idyllwild House

We had the most wonderful stay with our family. The house was beautiful, fun, and very well stocked. Great location. Close to town. Idyllwild is such a pretty fun place. Good for hiking. Great experience. Can’t say enough good things about owner/manager. Made it so easy and fun.

Weekend in the Trees

We had a wonderful time at the Treehouse, a couple of the many decks are literally in the trees and are just amazing for hanging out. The kitchen has everything you may need, the beds are very comfortable, and the Great Room provides lots of space for everyone to relax, play games, and spend time with family and friends. 5 Stars Across The Board

The house is super clean. The beds are super comfortable. Decor is fantastic - almost over-the-top. Andrea, the host, is great — providing everything we needed and anticipating things even we didn’t think we needed. She’s a good communicator and problem solver. Fantastic views from all porches & wonderful new gazebo & fireplace out back. Highly recommended — one of our favorite places in Idyllwild.

Great Anniversary Getaway

If you are thinking about booking this cabin, do it. It is a great option for the family, we had an 8 year old with us that said she was sad to leave, the loft is great for kids and makes them feel extra special. The view is beautiful, the outdoor decks are awesome. The cabin has everything you can think of and need, so pack light. The Indian decorators are so interesting and beautifully done. The host is awesome and so helpful. We had a very enjoyable stay.

A Welcoming and Fun Trip for Our Family

Andrea's house has everything you could need for a really fun family trip. The home itself has a great layout for families and so many places/spaces for people to be together or scurry off to find their own quiet cozy spot to read. The kitchen had everything you need to cook meals. The bathrooms were clean and stocked with extra towels. The loft is adorable and comfortable. We appreciated that Andrea was so communicative and kind throughout our visit. Highly recommend.
