Welcome to this luxury mountain cabin and enjoy top-level amenities, including a large back deck surrounded by trees and serene views of distant mountain ridges! This cabin offers a private hot tub, plentiful shaded outdoor seating, and a koi pond right off the deck with two waterfalls, providing the sounds of a rippling creek.
The living area features a beautiful original stone wood-burning fireplace that opens to the upgraded, modern kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking equipment but does not have a dishwasher. There is also a large outdoor propane grill for your use. The cabin has two bedrooms upstairs and one bedroom downstairs with its own private bathroom and separate entrance. Plenty of games like giant Jenga, Yahtzee, and a dartboard are provided for entertainment. This home is ideal for group getaways or family get-togethers. The owners adore this vintage yet fully modernized cabin and are happy to share their 'piece of paradise' with you.
Explore the beauty of nature from this prime location in Pine Cove! You'll be just minutes from Mt. San Jacinto, Fuller Ridge, and Black Mountain, which are perfect for outdoor activities.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE BOOKING:

This vacation rental is equipped with air-conditioning.

-Cancellations: Bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of the stay will receive a full refund, with a $150.00 cancellation charge. Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund plus a $150.00 cancellation charge.
No Cancellations are Allowed for November, December, and January.

- Pets: We do allow dogs, however, please note that there is a fee of $35 per dog per night. If you plan to bring more than one dog, you must obtain prior approval and additional fees may apply. When booking through selected third-party sites such as Airbnb, once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a payment request for the dog fee, which should be paid separately.

Parking: Free parking is available for 3 vehicles (Seasonal Restrictions Apply; chains are recommended in winter, and 4X4 is HIGHLY Recommended).

- Rental agreement: Please review our rental agreement for our house rules. You will receive an emailed version to sign, but if you prefer other options, please inquire.

- Age restrictions: Due to the new County of Ordinance 927.2: We no longer accept reservations for anyone under 21 years of age.

- Seasonal wood delivery: If available, there is a $25 fee per bundle (approximately 20 pieces). Please provide at least 5 days' notice for a Friday arrival date or at least 3 days' notice for any other day of the week. Please note that there are no refunds for this service.

- Confirmation: Upon booking this property through Airbnb, New Spirit Vacation Homes will send you a direct email confirming your reservation. Attached to this confirmation will be a contract you need to review, sign, and send back within 24 hours.

- Incidentals: We reserve the right to request payment for any incidentals. This includes but is not limited to firewood, pet fees, special occasion requests, personal grocery drop-offs, pay-per-view movies or sporting events, and damaged property.

Guests booking this home under the age of 25 years of age will provide an additional insurance for $70.00 non-refundable on the day of arrival.

Great Dog Vacation

We come to this area about once a year and travel with our dog. Very dog friendly place. Had fenced area for dog and the balcony was secure as well. Our friends came as well and this place was very spacious. We stayed downstairs with our own bathroom and our friends stayed upstairs. Highly recommend this property.

Great Cabin

Good location, quiet neighborhood. Cabin was easy to find. Everything was clean and in great shape. If interested in hot tub, let management know, it was turned off when we arrived. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, plates and knives. Not many condiments. And "that" stove..................Bring your shampoo and body wash, there was none provided. Hot water in master shower was not hot enough for me.Great dog rental, bowls and bed provided and an awesome dog run.Definataly reccomend.

Great property for friends and fur babies!

This is a beautiful property with everything you need for a perfect stay. Positioned a few miles from town at a higher elevation that delivers gorgeous tree top views. It’s far enough from town so that it’s very peaceful and tranquil but close enough (about a 5 minute drive) to get into town for whatever you need. The outdoor deck area is perfect for hanging out by the fire pit, eating a meal or enjoying the hot tub. Great open floor plan so everyone can hang out together. Fully equipped kitchen. Wood burning fireplace in main area. The property is very dog friendly too and has a dog door plus a dog run with access to the back deck so your fur baby can come and go and explore the great outdoors while staying safely fenced in. Nice for big dogs that need to get out and exercise. They also supplied a dog bed that my fur baby loved even though we brought her bed from home. The only thing that didn’t seem as pictured was the downstairs bedroom/bath. It’s a little dark and depressing and attached to the garage. Also furnishings could use an update but the older furniture didn’t diminish our experience.

Bachelorette Weekend

We stayed here for a bachelorette weekend and had a wonderful time overall! The cabin was cozy, spacious, and perfect for our group. The kitchen was well-equipped, which made it easy to cook meals and enjoy time together. The common areas were just what we needed for a fun and relaxing getaway.The only downside was that the water heater wasn’t working during our stay. While that was definitely inconvenient, we appreciated that the host Adrian made an effort to address the issue and tried to resolve it as quickly as possible.Despite that hiccup, we enjoyed our stay and would consider coming back again. We were close to hiking trails and a market. We would love to explore the town some more. It’s a great spot for a group trip!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place is very nice; however, there were a few issues that had to be taken care of:1. Lights did not work in the dining room but the tech fixed.2. Water heater did not work so we had only cold water for our stay. The tech tried to fix but he said a plumber is needed. We are happy to only had three nights with cold water. Also this affected the hot tub, no hot water to tub so we could not use it.3. In my opinion, the downstairs bedroom smelled and I would not want to have anyone stay in that room.4. The dog ramp needs fixing, warped and weak. Not too safe.We are waiting for a decision about compensation for the cold water problem.This is our third rental home through Spirit Vacation homes and we had issues with last year's vacation home. We will probably use another agency in the future and hopefully this will resolve problems. We are homeowners and realize things do break but it would be wise to have a crew go through the rentals and make sure everything is working especially we pay a premium price for rentals.

Cozy cabin in a winter wonderland

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Six adults and one pup stayed at Quail's Ridge for two nights and it was the perfect wintertime getaway. Make sure to bring chains with you, the drive up in the snow can be tricky! You'll have everything you need for a cozy time with family once you arrive: fully stocked kitchen, hot tub with plenty of fresh linens, fireplace and gorgeous view of the valley.The property description was quite accurate. There were a few quirks to the house, such as a very tricky stovetop/oven appliance and an impossibly loud venting fan. This dampened the experience of cooking together, a real shame because the kitchen was gorgeous and spacious!Beds were comfortable with plenty of extra blankets. Once bedroom is separated from the rest with it's own amenities, great for extra privacy from the main house.Definitely bring wood for the fireplaces.We were initially given the wrong key to the house, and New Spirits Homes went above and beyond to correct the problem, even in a blizzard.

Great location and amenities

Mixed feelings about this property. Overall, our group had a great time so I’m giving it four stars. There are definitely some odd things though. This is posted on the listing (my fault for not reading it fully), but the day before arrival management contacted me to fill out/sign an extensive rental agreement along with sending a photo of my ID and credit card (only the last four showing). This hasn’t happened to me before & it was especially odd because they were contacting me from random google numbers. If they had a legitimate portal or something that probably would’ve weirded me out less. Regardless it wound up being fine. The check in and check out process are kind of annoying because it requires a physical key - you have to stop at a lock box in town on your way in and out. More inconvenient than I expect for a rental property. The common spaces are absolutely beautiful in this house - we loved using the kitchen and fireplace and spent a lot of time in the hot tub. The amenities were really great and we brought our dog who really enjoyed the fenced in yard. The place was also super clean - 10/10 for cleanliness. One of the bedrooms and bathrooms is pretty separate from the rest of the house - you have to go downstairs and through the garage to access it which was kind of odd and a little creepy at night. Overall I might book again just for the amenities, but if I found similar amenities somewhere else, this wouldn’t be my first choice.

Family time in the mountains

Our first time visiting Idyllwild, and we'll definitely be back.The house worked great for us - we had me in one bedroom, my brother and our two dogs in the second bedroom, and my daughter, son-in-law and their 2 babies in the third bedroom. The house is in a great location with a huge yard and lots of privacy. We loved that the dogs could go out in the fenced-in yard so we didn't need to watch them every second. We cooked plenty of meals in the kitchen and it was very comfortable for 2 or 3 of us to be in there at the same time. Found a couple of fun hikes nearby, and the Idyllwild Brewery was a highlight. Fun times!

Sisters getaway

This beautiful home was the right place for our group of 6 sisters to laugh and reminisce. We moved away from our home town of Yucaipa 50 years ago and were back for a fabulous trip down memory lane. Loved the deck with room for all of us, hiking nearby and the shops, brewery and restaurants in Idyllwild were perfect for us.

We loved the myriad of beautiful birds!: Cheeky Stellar jays, orioles, nuthatches, chickadees, and beautiful acorn woodpeckers. Large, very clean, smoker/BBQ grill! A bonus was the ramp off deck for the dog to run down into fenced-in area. We anticipated going into town, but loved staying at the house! Management team and host were all very professional, courteous, and prompt!! Outstanding!

There were 6 of us so there was not enough room for us all to sit comfortably in front of the TV. The 3rd bedroom and 2nd bathroom is downstairs off the garage. It is nice if someone wants privacy. We decided to do some baking in the beautiful oven but it was hard to figure out even with the given directions. We would return. The sunsets were amazing and the hot tub was perfect. You feel like you are in your own world. The cabin seemed newly renovated. Our dog was so happy to go down the doggie ramp to a fenced in area under the cabin.

Reviewer Comments: Cabin is very spacious and equipped with whatever you may need to cook, including a nice BBQ grill, sleep, etc. Only negative for us was the hot tub is in the deck, not above, so not really easy access. Also, the deck railing is rather low and one could easily have a mishap. The rails are very open too. I would not recommend for a family with small children. The dogs were quite happy with the ramp to the fenced in yard and could visit nose to nose with the dog below. Our dogs didn't jump the fence adjacent to the ramp, but that's not to say another dog wouldn't. Lots of nice touches, including a dog bed, Amazon echo and more. Oh, when we arrived there was no power. There apparently was planned blackout, no big deal, but wasn't told that when we checked in. We would have stayed in town and enjoyed a beverage or snack as we didn't want to unpack not knowing about the outage and when it might come back on. Not to mention no air conditioning. A quick search did give us an ETA. Still would recommend this cabin.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was wonderful! Needed a few things like a dish rag or sponge to do dishes and a new microwave, and an adjusted sliding screen, but other than that just lovely!!!Disappointed of the additional charge of $145, Misc charge of $120, another misc charge of $25 and the service fee of $74. More than one night of $216 and we only stayed 2 nights
