My husband and I were looking for a quiet little getaway and this was the perfect place. There was more room than we needed but was a cozy comfy place!
Nothing but great things to say about the whole process, from listing/booking to pre-trip questions answered, great accommodations, extra help with questions during stay! Would absolutely stay here again!!
Quiet neighborhood, clear instructions, and well stocked property. House was very clean and had anything you could need traveling with kids. Near tons of recreation and tourist options.
Attentive host made us feel incredibly welcome and safe, the staff was very quick and helpful. I am looking forward to stay in this cabin every year as a tradition.
We came with a couple of friends for our anniversary. The cabin was in the middle of the woods just like we wanted. Very clean and had everything we needed! We only had to ask the owners I minor question and they were very quick to respond! Would definitely stay here again!
This cabin is absolutely beautiful and it really feels like home when one comes in the door.
The king sized bed was so comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked and the cabin was very clean.
The owners were very easy and helpful.
I would definitely recommend their cabin.
We had an amazing time at the cabin. Hosts were very accommodating and helpful. Great hike up to St Mary’s. The cabin was great and allowed us to spend some quality time together. Was great for all of us from great grandmas on down. Location was spectacular. Very secluded feel but yet close enough to all you could want.
This house is a gem! It is fully stocked with all the essentials and more. The beds were very comfortable. While our son was entertaining himself in the loft we were able to enjoy the patio, which was lovey. The location is perfect for getting to some local spots before the crowds roll in.
First, the hosts were wonderful and responsive to our questions. The cabin was spacious and perfectly set up for our group of 6 women on a mountain reunion adventure. I highly recommend it! Many hikes nearby, hot springs etc. Downtown Idaho Springs was also a fun place to visit, with restaurants, outside seating, shops etc. A car with 4 wheel drive was helpful. Thanks for sharing your home!
In short, the cabin has all the necessities to make your short or long stay comfortable. All the pots and pans you could want for cooking and even an Insta Pot. Plenty of extra towels, etc. There is a firepit table on the deck and a separate real firepit on the property grounds.
We had a great time spending a week at the cabin. Just watch out for that altitude sickness.
This was the perfect getaway where I truly was able to relax and unwind with a great book and the cozy fire place! The host were my saving grace as I was not able to get up the hill with my 4x4 as it was extremely icy when I arrived. I called them and explained and they were able to send someone to get me settled in. They also cam out and shoveled and made sure I had everything I needed. I also took a hike at St. Mary's Glacier as its truly just up the road. Very excited to come back here!
We celebrated thanksgiving and my husband’s retirement in this picturesque cabin. The setting is gorgeous and the cabin was just perfect. We had everything we needed to cook a big dinner and the kiddos loved the loft area where they played most of the time. Even though the temperature dropped to 10 degrees, the house was comfortable and warm. I can’t say enough good things about Zedi and Irfan. They were very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed and when I had to reach them with questions they responded quickly. They even decorated the cabin for the retirement celebration!
Chose this property due to secluded location, and great photos/glowing reviews on website. Everything was absolutely accurate and even better than expected. Bedrooms were so comfy as was sitting area. Kitchen space was compact but had everything we needed. Maybe our favorite features were the deck with outdoor furniture and a second area with wood burning fire pit. Great for stargazing over bottles of wine. St Mary Glacier trail was energizing due to the elevation and rock scramble. Idaho Springs is a perfect afternoon /evening activity. Kids loved the AVA ziplining. We loved drive/hike around Echo lake. Tips: The drive from Idaho Springs to the cabin is winding so plan accordingly and take your time at night. The driveway and cabin are beautifully lit do it was a pleasure arriving home in the evening. The host Zedi was extremely accommodating with our many questions and stayed in constant contact. We cant wait to come back.
The cabin location on the mountain side with outdoor patio and firepit was lovely. We hiked right up from the backdoor to catch the Yankee Hill trail.
We had good communication with the owners. Thank you!
The bathrooms and laundry were so convenient and clean. The loft got good use from our two pre-teen girls.
However, the cabin needs TLC. There was so much dust--bedroom shelves, floors, behind furniture, cobwebs on walls and ceilings, etc. To feel "at home" we vacuumed, dusted and mopped the dining area/kitchen the first day. One set of pillows on the family room couch was not clean. I washed all the family room blankets because there was a mouse trap next to the basket with a dead mouse in it and a few pieces of trash in the blanket basket.
The kitchen lacked a few items--only three drinking glasses, no plastic bowls for mixing. Even though it was small we put it to good use.
It is such a beautiful property. Could be gorgeous and very comfortable with a bit of extra attention--outside lighting, thorough clean, update of kitchen appliances.
Thanks!
The only problem we had was that we had to leave…but we WILL be back!!
We knew the cabin was beautiful from the photos and, having been to the Rockies before we had an idea of where we would be staying. However, from the moment we pulled up (after a 14 hour drive) and saw the soft fairy lights on the porch, the living room light had been left on for us, and they had soft music playing as we entered…we fell in love! Check in was so easy, check out was even easier! The cabin is beautiful and fully stocked. My daughter and I had a grand time cooking and baking while there.
My husband and I took the kids around the Rockies to show them the area and everyone had a blast! When we would come “home” after a day out we would start a fire in the fireplace, start a movie for the family, while I would cook a delicious dinner using the very well-stocked kitchen. After dinner we would all sit around the dining room table to play board games. We all found plenty of ways to keep ourselves relaxed and/or entertained while at the cabin. Most of us didn’t even keep our phones on us because we were too busy enjoying the cabin/area and each others’ company (a rare thing in this day and age).
Idaho Springs is just at the bottom of the part of the mountain where the cabin is located, and has a great grocery store, varied restaurants, and activities. Denver is only about 45-60 minutes away, but you won’t feel the need to go unless you absolutely have to. Zedi was always there if/when we needed him but also let us enjoy the cabin peacefully unless we reached out.
Relaxing and picturesque cabin nestled in the trees close to mountain lakes and St Mary’s Glacier. We truly enjoyed our stay! The cabin was thoughtfully designed so that all eight of us slept well, had room to hang out (indoor and on the deck outside!) as well as cook our meals!! Highly recommend!
