Las Gaviotas
Built on the side of a ravine with amazing uninterrupted views of the coast and Mount Teide, this tranquil setting offers the perfect place for a relaxing holiday. The 3 apartments are all separate and have their own private terraces and gardens with stunning views. There is a separate terrace with a pool and wood burning pizza oven, barbecue, kitchen and bar where you can relax and share the facilites with other guests. There are beautiful gardens with fountains and flowers, and all apartments overlook our own vineyard and neighbouring banana plantation.

There is also another studio apartment EL TEIDE property 8583967 at the same location so that friends and families can enjoy a holiday and the shared facilities together.

Punta de Juan Centellas is 0.5 miles at the end of the road, with it s natural pool and where the locals fish.

San Marcos beach and small fishing harbour is 3.8 miles with bars and restaurants serving locally caught fish.

Charco del Viento s natural pools for swimming and fishing is a place of natural beauty and is 4.3 miles away.y

Cueva del Viento the longest vulcanic lava tunnel in Europe is a place of fascination and scientific interest 8 miles.

Lovely, quiet home in the Northeast.

Wonderful Stay

We enjoyed the stay in the apartment of Lindy and Vicente very much. The apartment, the garden and the barbecue area are very beautiful. From everywhere you have a wonderful view over the valley, the sea and from the terasse even to the Teide. The hospitality of Linda and Vicente was great.

Great views!

This is a clean, well equipped and comfortable apartment. We had a beautiful patio with views of the ocean and Mt Teide There are many stairs and steep ramps, so not suitable if you have mobility issues. The apt was handy for exploring,and restaurants and shopping close by. Would definitely return!

Great stay in El Fuente apartment. We were greeted with a lovely bottle of wine and basket of fruit. Beautiful views from terrace, cosy indoor sofa and bedroom. Spacious accommodation on two levels, well equipped and very clean. Linda and Vicente were away but we were very well cared for by Lourdes and her husband. Highly recommended.

Idyllic setting

The apartment was situated down a quiet lane, built into the hillside with expansive views of the local agriculture and the sea. It was peaceful and very relaxing with attractive gardens and terraces. It is in a part of Tenerife well removed from the hustle and bustle of the major resorts, offering fantastic scenery and charm. Well worth the harrowing drive from the airport in the dark along unfamiliar twisting mountain roads. One minor point to note was the procedure to open the gate from the lane to the property. The key presses on the keypad did not initially register, but once I worked out one of the keys was sticking we gained entry. After that exit and entry was easy with the keyfob on the house keys. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the weather was perfect.

Great choice for a stay in Tenerife

Experience was good bar the brief wait to enter upon arrival due to a complication with the gate; I’d strongly advise completing thorough due diligence regarding the significant difference in climate between north and south Tenerife.

Perfect location

We had a very positive experience. The accommodation was perfect. We walked into a very clean and welcoming environment. There was a beautiful bowl of fruit and bottle of wine and 2 glasses. The basic essentials were provided and cleaning products available. The gardens are neat and tidy and the pool clean. The weather was not the greatest while we were there so we didn't use the pool but we did enjoy the garden. The views are spectacular and the hosts Vincente and Linda were very welcoming and was available if needed. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are already planning a return trip. Highly recommended.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit Blick auf den Atlantik und den Teide. Die Einweisung durch die Besitzer erfolgte durch SMS-Kontakt und war sehr ausführlich.Die Außenanlage ist liebevoll gestaltet und läd zum Verweilen ein. Der Pool ist sauber, aber nicht beheizt. Da das Wetter unbeständig war, haben wir ihn auch nicht genutzt.Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in ca. 600 m Entfernung.Das Anmieten eines Autos direkt am Flughafen hat sich für uns als sehr vorteilhaft erwiesen.Wir können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Schöne Tage in Teneriffa

Wir wurden von Linda und Vicente sehr herzlich empfangen. Sie haben uns gute Tipps gegeben und waren sehr hilfsbereit. Die Ferienwohnung liegt wunderschön in einem tollen Garten mit Blick auf das Meer , Bananenplantagen und die Teide. Die Wohnung ist schön , sauber und geräumig . Die Terasse ist wunderbar zum entspannen oder essen. Die Lage ist perfekt um die Umgebung kennenzulernen.Restaurants sind in der Nähe , das Meer ist nicht weit weg und Ausflugsziele wie Icod de los Vinos und Porto Santa Cruz sind auch gut zu erreichen. Ein Auto ist schon von Vorteil - der Weg zur Ferienwohnung ist schon eng und steil und benötigt einen/eine sicheren Autofaher/ in. Wir können diese Wohnung sehr empfehlen. Tara und Jürgen

Comfortable apartment with stunning views and lovely garden

A well-maintained traditional style property with modern features (such as double glazing which must be rare near sea level on the island!) which makes for the rarely achieved combination of character and comfort. Great gardens with some very interesting plants (such as cotton bushes and a nice Hibiscus collection) although the stunning view from the small lounge area might be even further improved by raising the crown (i.e. selectively removing some of the leafy lower shoots) from the Yucca in front of the window and perhaps thinning out the foliage on the adjacent Strelitzia nicolai. Great to be able to watch birds such as Canary Blue Tit, Grey Wagtail, Kestrel, Sardinian Warbler Blackbirds and Canary Chiffchaff over breakfast on the patio:-) The parking is actually fine although might look a bit daunting on first arrival. Really appreciated the washing machine being in a small attached outbuilding to reduce noise disturbance. Also much appreciated the welcome wine and interesting (and tasty) fruits - the tamarillo and Kiwano were both new experiences for us! Einfach wunderbar!

Die kleine Wohnung wurde offensichtlich vor Kurzem renoviert und war liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Teilweise etwas wackelige Wasserhähne und Steckdosen trübten den Gesamteindruck nicht. Der Blick aus dem Fenster und von der Terasse aus ist wirklich gigantisch und entspricht der Beschreibung! Auf dem Grundstück gibt es für jede Wohnung einen Parkplatz (sehr wichtig, weil die Wohnung nur per Auto erreichbar und die Straße sehr eng ist). Und außerdem: die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern klappte absolut perfekt! Vielen Dank dafür!

Ruhige Unterkunft abseits vom Tourismustrubel

Wir suchten nach einer Unterkunft abseits des Tourismustrubels auf Teneriffa. Eine solche fanden wir in Buen Paso, Icod de las Vinos. Das Appartment liegt an einer kleinen, steil zur Küste abfallenden ca. 1,5 km langen einspurigen Straße in ländlicher Umgebung. Vom Ende der Straße erreicht man zu Fuß auf schmalen Pfaden eine malerische Halbinsel mit einer imposanten felsigen Steilküste. Zum Baden ist die Küste hier allerdings nicht geeignet. Wir nutzten die Unterkunft vor allem als guten Ausgangspunkt in ruhiger Lage für Ausflüge zu den zahlreichen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Insel. Schon unweit gibt es einige wunderschöne Möglichkeiten zum wandern. Auch kleine versteckte Strände kann man entdecken, wenn man wenige Kilometer mit dem Auto fährt. Der Kontakt zu den Eigentümern Vicente und Linda war unkompliziert und freundlich. Alles war sehr sauber und zweckmäßig. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen!

Wonderful Atlantic view

The appartment and the whole property are very nice, all as described in the announcement great Atlantic view even from the bedroom. All the clean and quite new. Morning sun for a breakfast outside. Linda and Vicente were not there but did their very best that all is fine and a relative of them is there if there are problems. There was a problem with the internet which need to be solved by a professional, in the meantime they provided another access. The only issue for me was the steep and narrow access about 700 m from the main road to the property and the slope at the property itself. I got used to the 700 m 'adventure' and Linda and Vicente offerd that I can park the car at the property at the most conveniant soution for me, Thanks for this! Most people obviously can manage easily to drive there. Vicente and Linda are really great hosts!
